Mission :

Under the supervision of the carbon project manager, you will calculate the carbon footprint of the area studied.
More precisely, your missions will be as follows:
Obtain and consolidate the data required for the study: Identify the sources of data necessary to carry out the carbon assessment.
Collect internal data using different methods (data extraction, creation of survey forms, etc.).
Consolidate the acquired data to guarantee their consistency and quality.
Process the data so that it can be used according to the carbon assessment methodology and tools.
Carry out the carbon calculation of the area studied: Inject the collected data into the carbon assessment tool.
Select the appropriate emission factors from those available.
Propose emission factors for significant activities not covered by existing factors.
Analyze and disseminate the results: Analyze the main sources of emissions and relate them to the identified reduction paths.
Create dissemination and capitalization formats suitable for sharing results.
Present the carbon footprint, its analysis, as well as the reduction options associated with the stakeholders concerned.
Collect and capitalize on comments and feedback to refine future analyses.

Profile :

With a Bac + 5 training in Environment and sustainable development and/or humanitarian work, you have a first with professional experience in programmatic functions (food security) and/or support (logistics or finance) ideally in an NGO.
You have first experience of participating in carrying out a carbon assessment.
You are able to collect, interpret, sort, analyze and produce summaries of financial data. You can also identify and analyze financial issues, and formulate recommendations and/or alerts to the appropriate contacts.
You are familiar with an accounting software package (Agresso, Saga) and have knowledge of banking software (Turbo, Exabanque).
Equipped with active listening, you adapt your communication style and establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors.
You are responsive and able to move quickly from one activity and/or theme to another.
You have a good level of English, both written and spoken.

Terms of employment

Status: Integrated manager – 1 month fixed-term contract – Full time
Location: Ile-de-France
Remuneration: From 37K to 44K euros gross annual over 13 months depending on experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters
