Mission :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Program, you will be responsible for preparing project proposals, communications and reports for donors as part of the search for and implementation of grants.
You will be involved in all fundraising and external communications campaigns for the mission, and will also be in charge of contractual aspects of partnerships.
More specifically, your role will be to:
Contribute to the implementation of the mission’s business development strategy, coordinate the process of developing and submitting project proposals, and ensure their quality. Contribute to the identification of new funding opportunities, by carrying out donor mapping, donor files, assessments of our internal capacities, etc.
Maintain an up-to-date information table on acquired, future and potential financing
Coordinate the entire writing, review/validation process
Lead the preparation and submission of reports to donors and local authorities on ongoing or completed projects. Organize and supervise the process of preparation, review/validation and submission of external reports.
Contribute to the development of narrative reports and annexes by compiling and synthesizing the information received
Develop contractual partnership documents with other NGOs (local or international)
Contribute to the proper management of ongoing projects by monitoring grant contracts, holding regular meetings and compiling activity progress reports (APR) Manage the revision of project documents in the event of contractual amendment
Train and coach your team as well as the RDDs, CTs, RTs, RPs and their assistants on the preparation of qualitative and quantitative APRs, as well as on the rules governing this process
Update and/or develop internal monitoring support tools based on identified needs
Coordinate the implementation of the Grants department, manage the team and participate in the internal and external communication of the missionSupervise and support the team composed of a Grants and Reporting Manager and a Grants and Reporting Officer, create team dynamics
Produce and distribute internally tools to help understand and comply with lessor compliance rules
Profile :
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in humanitarian and/or development programs.
You have already worked for at least 2 years in grant management.
You have very good writing skills, as well as very good written and oral skills in French and English.
Conditions of employment
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Basic salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: $974 net, paid on the land
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Holidays and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
