Mission :
Under the supervision of our teams, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience while actively contributing to our mandate. The proposed missions are as follows:
Mission 1: Development of a Protocol for Studying the Impact of Emergency Preparedness and Response Initiatives
Data collection and organization since 2019: You will be responsible for collecting, organizing and archiving all data, documents and initiatives related to emergency preparedness within our country offices and the Regional Emergency Response Team (ERRU) since 2019.
Analysis of initiatives: You will analyze the different supports provided, identify trends and evaluate the impact of the different initiatives.
Full report: You will be required to write a comprehensive report including analyses, observations and recommendations based on the process of capitalizing on preparation initiatives since 2019.
Development of the research protocol: You will work alongside us to research the best impact evaluation methodologies, develop a study methodology over 3 years and participate in the identification of institutional and financial partners.
Mission 2: Support for the Overall Operation of the ERRU and the Preparation Team
Support for the 2024 preparation satisfaction study: You will help with the preparation and launch of this crucial study.
Quarterly monitoring: You will monitor the quarterly mission readiness dashboard and ensure its internal dissemination.
Documentary research and monitoring: You will be able to carry out research and documentary monitoring on innovations in emergency preparedness.
Administrative support: You will provide support for the administrative tasks of the ERRU.
Profile :
The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:
– Master level Study Manager, in Research or equivalent, with a specialization in Analysis and Data Management.
– Proven ability to develop a research protocol, including collection of existing data, development of methodology and formulation of recommendations for data collection tools.
– Essential command of French and English at a professional level, both written and oral.
– Excellent command of Pack Office, particularly Word and Excel (knowledge of Power BI is a valued asset).
– Experience or knowledge of the humanitarian environment, whether in France or abroad, is an important added value.
– Ability to work remotely and independently, with availability for teleworking up to 80% of the time.
Terms of employment
Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French educational establishment
Duration of the Internship: 6 months
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary conditions:
Internship compensated up to the legal minimum hourly compensation (based on 35 hours per week)
21 days of RTT (prorated to the time spent in the organization)
Days of absence for exams, academic research, etc.
Transport: Coverage at 50% of the package between home and work
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8 euros
175 euros/year (social works) and reduction on cinema tickets
Teleworking: Open to all and from the mainland territory, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring an imperative presence time at the headquarters of the association, and allows you to choose to exercise fully or in part the remainder of this time teleworking. To this end, a mandatory presence at headquarters of 4 days per month has been defined for this position. Time spent at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events.
