About Halo Trust:

Halo program in Syria:
The Halo program in Syria was established in 2016 and is coordinated from its offices in Amman, Jordan, and Syria. Halo is implementing its projects in Syria through a field office affiliated with Halo in the town of Kali, Idlib Governorate. The current projects in Syria include explosive munitions (EOD), NTS, and awareness of the risk of explosive ammunition (EORE).
The purpose of the job
The mine removal factor will work as part of the mechanical disinfection team. The basic duty of the mine removal is to cleanse the land contaminated with mines and unexploded ammunition and all explosives of war remnants according to the standard operating procedures in Halo Syria. In addition to this document, all other employment conditions apply as stipulated in the work contract and employee guide.
Duties and responsibilities
Mine Reignal is responsible for the following:
• Conducting all inspection procedures, including combing polluted soil in the inspection area of land contaminated with mines and unexploded ammunition and all other explosives of war waste according to the standard operating procedures, Halo Syria, and national and international safety and standards when necessary.
• Helping the team leader in managing the site (marking minefields, controlling and guarding the site)
• Helping the mechanism operator in its maintenance.
• Providing medical services according to operational measurement procedures
• You will not perform any procedures to get rid of explosive munitions.
• Follow all the rules and regulations stipulated in the work contract and the evidence of the employee and national law.
Halo publicly representing in a responsible and professional way.
• Ensuring cleaning, maintaining, preserving and repairing all elements of uniforms, tools or equipment issued by the organization.
• Follow all legal and safe instructions from managers.
• All other tasks assigned to him.
It will take the exercises specified on:
1- Mechanically removing mines (inspection, signs, planning and managing site),
2- Medium medical care training.
3- Training in machine maintenance.
Requirements
- Physically strong and able to work in difficult environments.
- There are no specific educational qualifications required.
