Details of the job description:

The goal of the job:

1. High quality supervision on sites:
   • Ensure that the work is carried out on the site according to the operational standards, instructions and instructions specified by the donor.
2. Follow -up to work progress:
   • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of the work carried out by contractors compared to the specified time plan, and ensuring the completion of the work within the specified time frame.
3. Ensure that the works match the specifications:
   • Verify that the executive works are in line with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and the menu (BOQ).
4. Quality guarantee:
   • Examine the materials that are delivered to the site to ensure that they match and approved specifications.
5. Monitor the implementation of health and safety standards:
   • Ensuring commitment to health, safety, social, and environmental standards on the site (HSSE), and to follow the standards of child exploitation (PSEA).
6. Providing technical support to contractors:
   • Providing the necessary guidance and support for contractors to help them solve field problems, with full coordination with the project manager.
7. Preparing progress and achievements reports:
   • Preparing weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reports on the progress of construction work and keeping pace with the specified schedule.
8. Ensuring compliance with standards and procedures:
   • Maintaining compliance with customer procedures and ensuring the implementation of all quality monitoring and review activities.
9. Verify payments:
   • Check the temporary payments submitted by the contractor and ensure that the work executed is matched with the payments submitted.

Main responsibilities:

1. Site supervision:
   • Providing high -quality supervision on the civil site according to the supervision instructions specified by the donor.
   • Ensure that the work is carried out on the site according to the directives and instructions from the project manager and the relevant engineer.
2. Monitor the progress of business:
   • Follow -up to the progress of field work by contractors and ensuring the completion of work according to the agreed time plan.
   • Measuring the work done and verifying quality according to the specifications.
3. Check materials:
   • Check the materials that are delivered to the site when they are received to ensure that they conform to the approved specifications.
4. Quality Management:
   • Participate in quality control activities and ensure their implementation according to quality standards.
   • Ensuring compliance with all technical specifications.
5. Coordination with other teams:
   • Cooperation with the team and contractors to solve field problems and ensure the workflow.
6. Financial reports:
   • Check the temporary payments of contractors and ensure compatibility with the executing works.
7. Reports and documentation:
   • Preparing periodic reports on the progress of the project.
   • Keep precise records for all field activities.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least five (5) years experience As a civil engineer in restoration projects and/or construction.
• Strong experience in supervising sites and building management.
• Good knowledge with computer software (Autocad, Google Suite).
