Purpose of the rol
The purpose of this position is to manage programs and projects “Generation with decision and leadership “(girls and young women, make autonomous and informed decisions) guaranteeing timely and quality formulation and implementation. Coordinates and strengthens the capabilities of the team in charge for the execution of projects within the organizational guidelines and agreements with partners and donors.

Responsibilities
- Mobilization of resources

Responsibilities according to the current project manual, including:
In the idea phase: Development of the first conceptual note, of its entry into the system, as well as the identification of local and/or international partners.
In the design phase: Accompany the alignment of the conceptual note to the donor’s requirements.
- The elaboration of a detailed execution plan (DIP)
- Development of the Due Diligence with the partners.
- The elaboration of the project budget
- Prepare an acquisition plan
- Manage risks and problems
- Responsible for the elaboration of the start plan (prepare a plan to contract and provide personnel, preparation of the baseline, compliance framework for the donor, involvement of decision makers, etc.)
In the planning phase: Responsible for the agreements with the partners.

- Complete the DIP and ensure that it is correctly entered into the systems (SAP and PMERL)
In the implementation phase:
- Responsible for the correct implementation of all activities.
- Approval of all expenses charged to the project budget based on the delegation of agreed authority

- Monitoring of compliance with results and programmatic quality.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of all reports.
- Responsible for the relationship and support for the partner.

4. Security management and organizational risk reduction

- Ensure efficient management and prevention of organizational risk in its intervention area.
- Develop situation analysis of national realities in the generation issue with decision and leadership, as well as in the gender agenda propose mitigation strategies.
Safeguard
It guarantees that the global Safeguard policy of Plan International and PII’s policy to prevent harassment, exploitation and sexual abuse; and gender equality and inclusion are fully integrated in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy, including the relevant rules and guidelines of implementation as appropriate to their area of responsibility. Experience and Technical Competencies and Skills
Previous experience and knowledge
- Bachelor and post graduate.
- Studies or experience in gender and development
- Knowledge and experience in sexual and reproductive rights
- Experience in training processes on sexual and reproductive rights
- At least 5 years of experience in project management in social areas.
- Preferably knowledge of youth leadership
