Who are we

At War Child Nederland – a closely collaborative team of more than 50 driven professionals – we do everything we can to make as much impact as possible for our mission. We implement programs for children and parents who have fled to the Netherlands, are working on Advocacy, working on our positioning and reputation and we are committed to receiving as much support as possible from, among others, Dutch private individuals, companies and foundations.

Team Fundraising plays an important role in this. The three underlying clusters all have their own focus and work closely with each other and with the other teams. Within the ‘relational fundraising’ cluster we focus on personal relationships with companies, major donors and foundations.

For this cluster we are looking for a Fundraising Support Officer, who supports the team and thereby enables the relationship managers to fully focus on maintaining and expanding our valuable collaborations.

Who are we looking for?

An organized, proactive and helpful fundraising support officer that gets energy from streamlining processes, supporting sales processes and coordinating internal applications between Team Fundraising and the various other teams within War Child Netherlands.

You get energy from others. You know how to put structure, optimizes processes and at the same time connect with the people around you and maintains and maintain them to make the greatest possible impact. You are a approach who likes variety and always looks for improvements.

Your responsibilities

· Support for fundraising:

o Drawing up sales pitches and proposals in collaboration with relationship managers

o Coordinate contract management and invoicing together with the Operations team

o Managing the joint mailboxes and distributing or picking up requests yourself

o Coordinate communication requests towards our communication team

o Support for evaluations and updates towards relationships

· Process optimization:

o Collaborate with the operations and communication team to improve processes

o Increasing the involvement and value of our relationships by making our approach more relevant and more personal

o Provide flexible and structured support with (internal) meetings and decision -making processes

· Data and CRM support

o Making CRM segmentation and customer journeys more effective

o Support in managing the database (Salesforce)

o Archiving and documentation management

Your profile

· At least 3 years of relevant work experience, for example sales support, project coordination and/or process optimization

· Thorough with an eye for detail

· Strong in planning and organizing

· Solution -oriented, stress resistant and a team player

· Good oral and written skills in both Dutch and English

· Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus

· Experience with project management and fundraising is an advantage

· Available for 32 – 40 hours a week

What we offer

· Salary varies from € 2963 to € 3684 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week (the exact amount is determined by the years of your relevant work experience)

· 8% holiday allowance based on the annual salary

· An employment contract for at least 32 hours

· 29 vacation days per year on a full -time basis (3 of which are predetermined days off)

· A pension scheme paid in full by War Child

· Net compensation for homework and travel costs in our opinion hybrid work policy

Our organization

Our employment conditions are at the level of the Dutch NGO sector. The office is located in the Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer district. We are currently working in a hybrid form, with the combination of home and at the office.
