Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of the consultancy is to conduct a capacity gap assessment specific to GBV case management of IMC and partners, develop tailored capacity building plan that identifies both crosscutting and specific needs of each organization, design and deliver trainings to improve quality of GBV case management services as per the capacity building plan and put in place a GBV case management supervision and coaching system while mentoring IMC\u2019s GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainers. This will be a full-time consultancy starting from 1st September 2024 and ending 31st December 2024. IMC accepts remote consultancy however with frequent visits to Ukraine especially for the capacity assessment and trainings at minimum.<\/p>\n

The assignment will have two main workstreams:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Improve the quality of current GBV case management service provision by IMC and six implementing partners<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Conduct capacity assessment by meeting IMC and partner organizations\u2019 case management teams, reviewing their case management tools and practices and identify gaps and areas of improvement.<\/li>\n
  2. Develop tailored capacity building plan that identifies both crosscutting needs of all organizations and specific needs of each organization,<\/li>\n
  3. Review available training materials, guidelines, tools IMC and the GBV AoR in Ukraine have and adapt the training materials to IMC and partner organizations\u2019 needs. Make sure to include sessions on case management with diverse groups such as male survivors of sexual violence, elderly women, adolescent girls and ethnic minorities.<\/li>\n
  4. Deliver trainings as per the capacity building plan. In case of high number of training needs identified, either prioritize the trainings can be done in discussion with the GBV Coordinator or consider ToT format for identified staff.<\/li>\n
  5. Support the roll-out of CVA in GBV case management SoP and tools with trainings or workshops.<\/li>\n
  6. Participate in the GBV AoR Case Management Task Force, provide regular update on IMC\u2019s capacity strengthening efforts on GBV case management, share the materials developed as part of this consultancy and utilize GBV AoR\u2019s best practices and guidelines and tools while designing and developing materials under this consultancy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Put GBV case management supervision and coaching systems in place<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Organize regular coordination meetings and case conferences with IMC and partner organizations\u2019 case management team and identify challenges, opportunities, needs related to GBV case management.<\/li>\n
    2. Develop a guideline on GBV case management supervision and coaching built on the capacity assessment and outputs of the coordination meetings and case conferences. Identify and include supervision and coaching methods that are needed and applicable for the context and the needs of IMC and partner organizations. Contextualize the supervision and coaching tools and annex them to the guideline. Define roles and responsibilities of IMC (GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainers in particular) on supervising and coaching IMC and partner organization case workers.<\/li>\n
    3. Roll out the guideline and train all GBV case management team on it.<\/li>\n
    4. Conduct individual capacity assessments for IMC\u2019s GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainers. Develop individualized capacity building plan, including on the job couching, mentoring to the GBV Casework Supervisors& Trainers and facilitate peer support between them during the course of this consultancy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Under the overall supervision of the GBV Coordinator, the consultant is expected to deliver below deliverables in line with the above-mentioned tasks:<\/p>\n

      1. Consultancy workplan that illustrates specific actions, timeline, support needed for each task.<\/li>\n
      2. Capacity gap assessment report illustrating key gaps and strengths in staff\u2019s capacity and current service provision.<\/li>\n
      3. Capacity building plan illustrating both crosscutting needs of all organizations and specific needs of each organization.<\/li>\n
      4. Reviewed training toolkit(s) based on the identified topics in the capacity building plan.<\/li>\n
      5. Training report with key recommendations for the delivered training(s) following the capacity building plan.<\/li>\n
      6. Minutes of meetings of the coordination meetings and case conferences with IMC and partner organizations\u2019 case management team.<\/li>\n
      7. Guideline on GBV case management supervision and coaching, and relevant supervision and coaching tools.<\/li>\n
      8. Training report with key recommendations of the GBV case management supervision and coaching.<\/li>\n
      9. Reports for individual capacity assessments for IMC\u2019s GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainers.<\/li>\n
      10. Individualized capacity building plan for IMC\u2019s GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainers.<\/li>\n
      11. Minutes of meetings of the mentoring sessions to IMC\u2019s GBV Casework Supervisor& Trainer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
