Its charter of humanitarian principals- independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency &#8211; has been part of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-nutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations linked to conflicts or natural disasters. Action contre la Faim focuses its actions on 5 main areas of expertise: Nutrition and Health &#8211; Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection &#8211; Food Security and Livelihoods &#8211; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene &#8211; Advocacy. In 2022, Action contre la Faim provided aid to 28 million people in more than 46 countries worldwide. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.actioncontrelafaim.org\">www.actioncontrelafaim.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mission :<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for our new Head of Human Resources Department, based in Kyiv, with field trips to the Country Office bases\/areas (Kharkiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv).<br \/>\nUnder the supervision of the Country Director, you will define the Human Resources strategy for the Country Office, lead and coordinate its implementation and deployment in country, provide capacity building to HR team and provide optimum support to programs.<br \/>\nIn this role, your key priorities will be to :<br \/>\nPrepare and implement the closure of the Mykolaev sub-base in October, providing HR technical support for the base teams and management<br \/>\nImplement decisions made following the study on the nationalization of expatriate positions, in light of the restructuring proposal made by the organizational development consultant<br \/>\nAssess the current HR policies and processes at the base level in alignment with ACF&#8217;s HR framework (&#8220;the social model&#8221;), including a review of the internal regulations and the agreement on social benefits<br \/>\nImplement ACF&#8217;s new and Global Onboarding process (both national and international staff) in collaboration with headquarters<br \/>\nContribute in defining and developing the Country Office&#8217;s HR strategy for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>More generally, your missions will be to:<br \/>\nContribute to defining Country Office strategy<br \/>\nSupervise staff administration and payroll<br \/>\nProvide recruitment and training, and promote career development to all employees with a special focus on capacity building of the HR team<br \/>\nEnsure a coherent organisation of work and ensure compensation and benefits framework\/policy<br \/>\nImplement collective HR rules and regulations and communicate them internally<br \/>\nPromote and ensure collaboration and coordination in Human Resources with the Country Office&#8217;s partners<br \/>\nPrevent and manage cases of fraud and corruption<\/p>\n<p>Starting date : 02-09-2024<\/p>\n<p>Profile :<\/p>\n<p>You hold a Master&#8217;s degree in Human Resources Management or similar field, with a minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in similar position, within the iNGO and private Sector (a mix would be ideal).<br \/>\nYou have experience in using budgets and providing HR numbers to set up and review budgets, and in engaging with outside agencies\/authorities in connection with human resource issues.<br \/>\nYou have a strong and demonstrated expertise in human resource management.<br \/>\nYou are able to grasp a wide range of complex issues and synthetize them strategically.<br \/>\nYou excel at team management and capacity building, and genuinely enjoy enhancing the skills and abilities of your team members.<br \/>\nIdeally, you know well ACF operations, policies and procedures, and have a demonstrated experience in working in Ukraine within the humanitarian aid.<br \/>\nYou have proven interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills. You are open minded and flexible character, autonomous and result oriented.<br \/>\nYou have a very good command of English, both written and verbal. You have excellent writing skills and oral communication skills.
