Experience <strong>managing both programmes and support functions<\/strong> is preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strong people management<\/strong> skills, with <strong>experience managing complex change processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic leadership in line with regional and global ambitions, aiming to develop and implement a holistic response across programmes, advocacy and policy work.<\/li>\n<li>You will have overall responsibility for the country operation. You will be expected to lead the Country Management Group(CMG) in an inclusive and participatory manner that allows for the flow of ideas and adaptation to an ever-changing context.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the CMG to realign NRC\u2019s programmatic approach to Ukraine\u2019s changing context with a focus on local actors and leading the country office through the resulting changes.<\/li>\n<li>In close collaboration with the Head of Programme, develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and other key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and secure funding.<\/li>\n<li>Represent NRC in the media, raising awareness of the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and NRC\u2019s response efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure NRC\u2019s activities are carried out in line with NRC\u2019s Response Policy and other relevant (country\/regional\/global) strategies, donor rules and regulations and NRC policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and ensure the implementation of sound and balanced risk management practices, with due consideration for the principle of Duty of Care.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously promote a positive and collaborative working environment characterized by high levels of trust and respect, with due consideration for staff care and wellbeing.<\/li>\n<li>Drive cost efficiency and quality, including implementation of control mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Learning, training and development of all staff, including a strategy for national staff development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you will bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 7 years\u2019 experience from working as a Senior Manager\/Country Director in humanitarian\/recovery context.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
