Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, relevance and scaling of the SMSP, Protection and Gender strategy and interventions on the mission, in compliance with ACF and international standards and national policies.<\/p>\n

More specifically, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

Contribute to the definition of the country strategy, and to the definition of the strategy and positioning of the SMSP technical department.
\nCoordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals.
\nSupport the implementation and ensure reporting of programs\/projects.
\nGuarantee the quality and accountability of projects, ensure ACF’s active participation in national sectoral coordination, technical platforms and develop sectoral partnerships.
\nPromote capitalization, development, technique and research within the SMSP department.
\nProvide technical supervision of Project Managers in SMSP.
\nEnsure frequent contact with health authorities, coordination mechanisms (OCHA, clusters, WGs, etc.), UN agencies and NGOs.
\nYou will be required to travel extensively in the field (around 30% of your working time).<\/p>\n

Profile :<\/p>\n

You have a university degree in psychology with proven experience in program coordination positions focused on mental health and protection.<\/p>\n

You have experience in designing, implementing and monitoring projects and in leading working groups\/steering committees.<\/p>\n

You have knowledge of care practices and basic animation techniques.<\/p>\n

You have experience in analyzing program data.<\/p>\n

You have mastered the protocols for psychological care and psychosocial support, psychological first aid and emotional stabilization.<\/p>\n

You have excellent IT skills.<\/p>\n

You have good communication, listening and observation skills.<\/p>\n

You must be fluent in French and English (both spoken and written).<\/p>\n

YOUR TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
\nPackage international :<\/p>\n

Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
\nStart date: As soon as possible
\nGross monthly salary: from 2130 to 2475 euros depending on experience
\nPer diem and monthly living expenses: 583 euros net, paid on the ground
\nMonthly context allowance: 150 euros
\nChild allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros\/year)
\nTransport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
\nMedical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
\nHolidays and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR<\/p>\n

Package national :<\/p>\n

Fixed-term contract under Cameroonian law: 12 months
\nGross monthly salary: from 1,637,835 FCFA to 1,734,521 FCFA depending on experience
\nMedical Coverage: 80% of the coverage for you and your legally recognized beneficiaries
\nAccident Coverage Just For You
\nDeath benefit and funeral expenses for you (to be paid to your beneficiaries if applicable)
\nContribution towards school fees of 40,000 FCFA \/ per child of school age payable only in August
\nHolidays and RnR: 2 days of CP per month of work
