Its charter of humanitarian principles &#8211; independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency &#8211; has founded its identity for more than 40 years.  Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters.  Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health &#8211; Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection &#8211; Food Security and Livelihoods &#8211; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene &#8211; Advocacy.  In 2022, Action Against Hunger has helped more than 28 million people in 46 countries around the world. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.actioncontrelafaim.org\">www.actioncontrelafaim.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mission :<\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Head of Finance Department, you will provide support to the national financial management of the mission and accounting processes, and act as backup in the absence of the Head of Department or when delegated.<br \/>\nMore precisely, you will be responsible for the following missions:<br \/>\nCheck and correct the monthly accountancy from the bases and the capital.<br \/>\nBeing responsible for the corrections of all mission cash and bank books.<br \/>\nControl that balances of the mission cash and bank books are consistent with cash counts, bank statement and reconciliation.<br \/>\nEnsure all transactions are entered and supported with appropriate documentation (eligibility of invoices and conformity of procedures).<br \/>\nConsolidate on a monthly basis the mission&#8217;s accountancy.<br \/>\nEnsure that information in SAGA is exhaustive (updating when needed general parameters, SAGA version, Donor contracts and other information required to process the monthly closure).<br \/>\nProvide guidance and support on accounting and finance procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure ACF and donors procedures are known and implemented in the entire mission.<br \/>\nParticipate to the preparation and update of induction kits for new staff members.<br \/>\nParticipate in the preparation and implementation on training sessions on accountancy and supporting documents (for Finance &#038; non-finance teams).<br \/>\nManaging bank payments and accounts.<br \/>\nImplementing and following-up financial collaboration and coordination with mission partners.<br \/>\nTaking part in the preparation of financial reports.<br \/>\nEvaluating the performance and developing the skills of his\/her team members<\/p>\n<p>Profile :<\/p>\n<p>You hold a master&#8217;s degree in accountancy, finance, or administration, with 3 years of experience in a similar position.<br \/>\nYou have already worked in an emergency and\/or humanitarian environment. Extensive experience with ACF would be a plus.<br \/>\nYou have excellent managerial and supervisory skills. You also have experience in project management.<br \/>\nYou have excellent knowledge of Excel and digital accounting.<br \/>\nProficiency in English (oral and written) is mandatory.<\/p>\n<p>Conditions of employment<\/p>\n<p>Fixed term contract under French legislation: 6 months<br \/>\nSalary:Monthly gross salary from 2130 to 2475euros upon experience<br \/>\nReimbursement of the pension insurance for non<br \/>\nFrench citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary<br \/>\nAnnual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract<br \/>\nMonthly per diem and living allowance: 838euros net, field paid<br \/>\nMonthly country allowance: 450euros<br \/>\nAdvantages:Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros\/year)<br \/>\nTransportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house<br \/>\nMedical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.<br \/>\nSalary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)<br \/>\nLeaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 euros for each RnR period<br \/>\nAccompaniment and trainings: Follow-up and support for career development<br \/>\nFree and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge \u00a9Other benefits (gifts vouchers;
