Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :<\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you will coordinate Action Against Hunger’s interventions in the field of nutrition and related to nutrition outcomes.
\nMore precisely, you will be responsible for the following missions:
\nDesign and evaluate ACF’s emergency health and nutrition interventions in your area of work.
\nMonitor and coordinate health and nutrition activities.
\nDevelop technical capacity and mentor emergency health and nutrition teams.
\nRepresent ACF in the fiels of healt\/nutrition and develop local partnerships.
\nEnsure compliance with ACF Values & Principles, gender equality, child protection sensitivity, and safeguarding policies.<\/p>\n

Profile :<\/p>\n

You hold a Master’s degree in Public Health and\/or Nutrition or a diploma in General Medicine, Nursing, or similar, with at least five years of work experience with progressive responsibility, including experience working with the UN and\/or NGOs.
\nYou have experience in program management. You also have strong data analysis skills.
\nYou are recognised for your leadership skills and can manage effectively teams under your responsibility.
\nYou possess good analytical and writing skills, including negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
\nYou have excellent interpersonal skills, experience working with government partners and NGOs, and a strong ability to collaborate effectively.
\nYou are fluent in English (both written and spoken), and preferably in Ukrainian as well.<\/p>\n

Conditions of employment<\/p>\n

6 months fixed term contract under French or Ukrainian labor law
\nRemuneration package and competitive benefits
\nFor international applicants
\nSalary:
\nMonthly gross salary from 2130 to 2475euros upon experience
\nReimbursement of the pension insurance for non
\nFrench citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
\nAnnual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
\nMonthly per diem and living allowance: 838euros net, field paid
\nMonthly country allowance: 450euros
\nAdvantages:
\nChild allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros\/year)
\nTransportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
\nMedical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.
\nSalary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
\nLeaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 euros for each RnR period
