CTG staff and support humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world, providing a rapid and cost-effective service for development and humanitarian missions. With past performance in 17 countries \u2013 from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, we have placed more than 20,000 staff all over the world since operations began in 2006.
\nCTG recruits, deploys and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects, from cleaners to obstetricians, and mechanics to infection specialists, we\u2019re skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilise at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in less than 2 weeks and have done so in 48 hours on a number of occasions.

Overview of position:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Assist360 is a medical & travel assistance company that provides peace of mind for those working in fragile & conflict areas. Our Global Response Centre (GRC), based in Cape Town, South Africa works closely with our local in country teams to respond to medical emergency situations for Committed To Good (CTG) & other clients.<\/p>\n

Operations:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Assist in emergency operations: Support the coordination of emergency response activities, including monitoring emergency situations, communicating as first responders & updating response plans.
\nLiaising via phone & email with clients and providers.
\nCorresponding with medical desk for medical reviews, medical claims & medical guidance on cases.<\/p>\n

Data Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Collect, analyse & maintain emergency response data.
\nEnsure accurate documentation of incidents & activities.<\/p>\n

Administrative Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports & maintaining emergency contact lists.
\nThis also includes the processing of claims & raising of PO\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Additional Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.<\/p>\n

Client services:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research potential clients for medical assistance services.
\nAssist in communicating with clients via email & phone.
\nRespond to client inquiries, gather relevant information & provide updates.
\nFollow up on action items resulting from client meetings.<\/p>\n

Network management:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research potential clients worldwide.
\nContact, attend meetings & contract networks providers \/ facilities worldwide.
\nLiaise via email & telephone with potential providers & existing providers.
\nUpdate network database continuously.
\nCreate & maintain network maps & data.<\/p>\n

Project reporting:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This role will report to the Global Operations Manager.<\/p>\n

Key competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Must be fluent in English.
\nMust be a recent graduate.<\/p>\n

Team management:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This role has no team management responsibility.<\/p>\n
