It will also contribute to the incorporation of the gender and intersectional approach in the different protection activities, as well as in the GBV prevention and response strategy in protection activities in Nari\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Protection Management, it will support the field implementation of all Protection objectives under the projects in DRC implementation.  Will participate in other protection activities within the framework of the joint actions of the DRC-Nari\u00f1o Protection Unit as required.<\/p>\n<p>You will develop and maintain good relationships with persons of interest, relevant stakeholders, institutional actors and humanitarian actors, allowing you to adequately facilitate and ensure DRC Protection activities.  The importance of teamwork skills is also highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>It will contribute to guaranteeing the quality of the planning, implementation and monitoring of protection activities in the intervention municipalities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Implement actions and activities to respond and prevent gender-based violence (GBV) in the municipalities of intervention in accordance with the protection strategy, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and under the coordination of the Protection Management. .  This includes facilitating appropriate actions, including psychosocial support and referrals to specialist services.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement awareness-raising activities on GBV in accordance with the protection strategy and under the coordination of the Protection Management.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training and\/or training spaces for other protection activities, e.g. community-based protection activities or capacity building.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitor and document the needs of persons of interest and with greater emphasis on needs associated with GBV.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development and updating of mapping of actors and services for the response and mitigation of GBV risks and activation of routes, guaranteeing follow-up on the referral and its effective implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out information dissemination activities on rights protection issues and on issues surrounding GBV.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the given work plans and guidelines regarding the implementation strategy of GBV activities and other protection activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain good relationships with persons of concern, relevant stakeholders and other external actors to support and facilitate the appropriate implementation of GBV response, prevention and awareness activities.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee the application of protection principles and the gender, intersectional and GBV survivor-based approach transversally in all its activities, including confidentiality and informed consent.<\/li>\n<li>Support the administrative processes, support, document management and verification means necessary for the development of activities and reports to the MERA Unit, in accordance with DRC internal procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain permanent communication and coordination with the Protection Management and the protection team for efficient and quality planning.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the implementation of other assigned general protection activities in accordance with programmatic objectives and identified needs<\/li>\n<li>Participate in technical supervision spaces with a GBV specialist.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in case studies carried out on GBV, promoting good practices and response needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Security and health at work<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seek comprehensive care for your health.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in the formation of COPASST \u2013 Labor Coexistence Committee \u2013 Emergency Brigades, as well as the activities they carry out.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with the rules, regulations and instructions of the SG SST.<\/li>\n<li>Report in a timely manner the dangers and risks latent with your workplace.<\/li>\n<li>Attend OSH training defined by the SG-SST training program.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the maintenance of order and cleanliness in your position and work area.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, truthful and complete information about your health status.<\/li>\n<li>Immediately report to the OSH area and your immediate boss any work-related accidents, incidents (near-misses) and illnesses diagnosed as work-related.<\/li>\n<li>Report to the immediate boss the need to take corrective or preventive actions, which correspond to real or potential non-conformities of the process to which it belongs.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training activities, drills and those that are scheduled from safety and health at work.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and contribute to the fulfillment of the SG-SST policy and objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum one (1) year of experience in community work, social work, human rights, prevention of gender-based violence, care for people at risk and survivors of GBV, work with OSIEGD people<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of the context and humanitarian situation of the department of Nari\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of differential approaches (AGD) and work with ethnic communities.  \u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Willingness and ability to learn<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field experience and work with refugees, migrants, internally displaced people, ethnic communities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in psychological first aid and psychosocial support.<\/li>\n<li>Calm and diplomatic character.<\/li>\n<li>Good team work;  ability to create a good environment.<\/li>\n<li>English proficiency is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements in terms of Academic Training and technical knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate with a degree in Social Sciences and Education (Social Work, Psychology, Pedagogy, Bachelor&#8217;s Degree, Sociology and
