Its charter of humanitarian principles &#8211; independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency &#8211; has founded its identity for more than 40 years.  Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters.  Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health &#8211; Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection &#8211; Food Security and Livelihoods &#8211; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene &#8211; Advocacy.  In 2022, Action Against Hunger has helped more than 28 million people in 46 countries around the world. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.actioncontrelafaim.org\">www.actioncontrelafaim.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mission :<\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will ensure sound and transparent administration of funds by providing accounting and financial management consistent with the ACF financial management framework and local legislation.<br \/>\nMore precisely, you will be responsible for the following missions:<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to the definition of mission strategy.<br \/>\nCreate the budgetary framework of the mission.<br \/>\nMake financial and budgetary information available to other departments to facilitate the establishment of the country strategy.<br \/>\nEnsure high quality accounting for the mission.<br \/>\nDisseminate information about accounting procedures throughout the mission and ensuring they are observed.<br \/>\nEnsure high quality cash management for the mission.<br \/>\nAdapte methods for cash transfer in the light of local conditions and security considerations.<br \/>\nProvide financial and budgetary management.<br \/>\nProvide the necessary materials for negotiations with funding bodies and producing documents to funding bodies.<br \/>\nPromote and ensure financial collaboration and coordination with mission partners.<br \/>\nParticipate in the process of selecting partners and validating the financial risk analysis provided by the bases.<br \/>\nPrevent and manage fraud and corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Profile :<\/p>\n<p>You hold a bachelor&#8217;s degree or higher in finance and\/or Business administration or another related field.<br \/>\nYou have a minimum of 5 years experience including a first experience in managerial role, preferrably in the humanitarian sector.<br \/>\nA relevant professional membership (ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.<br \/>\nYou have the capacity to lead and manage a large team across various locations.<br \/>\nYou have an experience in budget and risk management. An experience with SAGA accounting system would be a plus.
