Using a market development and health systems strengthening approach, BHFA will support the GOP in Sindh &#038; KP province and the private sector institutions to achieve three results:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Increase the capacity of the government and private health institutions to lead resilient, responsive FP\/MNCH systems;<\/li>\n<li>Improve utilization of quality FP\/RMNCH products and services; and<\/li>\n<li>Empower men and youth to communicate about, demand, and use essential services<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>As a member of the BHFA consortium, Chemonics will lead the strengthening of the following sub-systems: commodity security, supply chain, and last mile distribution; HRH management and planning; government stewardship of mixed health systems and developing health markets; pandemic preparedness; maternal and perinatal death surveillance and response system; and the integration and use of data from different information systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of this TA:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The primary objective of hiring the consultant is to draft a revised version of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for Hospitals and Quality of Care. The revised standards will serve as a framework to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided by hospitals and healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of work:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the existing MSDS for Hospitals and Quality of Care, along with any relevant guidelines, policies, or frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a comprehensive analysis of best practices, international standards, and emerging trends in healthcare quality and service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Identify gaps, areas for improvement, and updates required in the existing MSDS to align with current healthcare practices and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and professional associations, to gather input and feedback for the revision process.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a draft revised version of the MSDS, incorporating recommendations, updates, and enhancements based on the analysis and stakeholder input.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the revised MSDS is comprehensive, evidence-based, and aligned with national healthcare priorities and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Provide rationale and justification for proposed changes, including references to relevant research, guidelines, and literature.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare accompanying documentation, such as explanatory notes, implementation guidelines, and training materials, to support the adoption and implementation of the revised MSDS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deliverables:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The consultant will be expected to deliver the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<strong>Draft Revised MSDS Document:<\/strong> A draft version of the revised Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for Hospitals and Quality of Care, incorporating recommendations, updates, and enhancements based on the analysis and stakeholder input.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Documentation and Justification:<\/strong> Rationale and justification for proposed changes in the revised MSDS document, including references to relevant research, guidelines, and literature.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Feedback Incorporation:<\/strong> Incorporation of feedback, inputs, and suggestions received during the consultative meeting into the draft revised MSDS document.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Final Revised MSDS Document:<\/strong> Submission of the final revised version of the MSDS for Hospitals and Quality of Care, along with accompanying documentation and recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>ReportIng<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The consultant will collaborate closely with the assigned KP HCC Project Manager and the Deputy Team lead HSS BHFA based in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Level of Effort:<\/strong> The expected duration of the assignment is three (03) months with a total LOE (Level of Effort) of 30 days distributed as a maximum of 10 working days per month<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required expertise:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and\/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in healthcare quality improvement, standards development, or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of hospital service delivery standards, quality assurance mechanisms, and accreditation processes.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analysis, and synthesis of complex healthcare data and information.<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and technically accurate documents.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts in the healthcare sector.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with relevant national and international healthcare policies, regulations, and guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>Please submit your application via this <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/19f602b8da3944c58bca06aaa265c4e5\">link<\/a> by May 31, 2024.
