{"id":4710,"date":"2024-05-20T18:46:08","date_gmt":"2024-05-20T13:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/project-clerk\/"},"modified":"2024-05-20T18:46:08","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T13:46:08","slug":"project-clerk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/?p=4710","title":{"rendered":"Project Clerk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"tag country\">Country: Italy<\/div>\n<div class=\"tag source\">Organization: International Organization for Migration<\/div>\n<div class=\"date closing\">Closing date: 24 May 2024<\/div>\n<p>Under the overall supervision of the Director, Coordination Office for the Mediterranean, Chief of Mission in Italy and Malta, and the direct supervision of the Project Manager and, in close coordination with the staff of the Facilitated Migration and Vulnerable Groups Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the tasks specified below.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Core Functions \/ Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of project activities in Lampedusa;<\/li>\n<li>Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information\/data on specific project topics;<\/li>\n<li>Support the organization of beneficiaries\u2019 transfer from Lampedusa, including by coordinating assistance to coordinate pre-departure information and medical activities;<\/li>\n<li>Support administrative coordination for project implementation, involving liaison with diverse organizational units or external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process, and follow-up on administrative actions;<\/li>\n<li>Draft correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations, and other forms of documentation;<\/li>\n<li>Respond to general information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files\/records;<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years of relevant experience;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national\/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working in reception centers\/camp like settings;<\/li>\n<li>Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions\/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and use of XL and other database;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Languages<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in Italian and English is required (oral and written);<\/li>\n<li>Working language of French is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Required Competencies<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent is expected to demonstrate the following values and competencies:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Values<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inclusion and respect for diversity: respects and promotes individual and cultural differences;
