Its charter of humanitarian principals- independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency &#8211; has been part of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-nutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations linked to conflicts or natural disasters. Action contre la Faim focuses its actions on 5 main areas of expertise: Nutrition and Health &#8211; Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection &#8211; Food Security and Livelihoods &#8211; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene &#8211; Advocacy. In 2022, Action contre la Faim provided aid to 28 million people in more than 46 countries worldwide. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.actioncontrelafaim.org\">www.actioncontrelafaim.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mission :<\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Country Director, your role will be to :<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate ACF country strategy implementation at field level<br \/>\nContribute to the design and update of the country strategy by providing field inputs to the Country Director<br \/>\nImplement the country strategy at field level in collaboration with the Deputy Country Director, Head of Technical Departments, Security HoD and Program Managers<br \/>\nIdentify new opportunities and propose new interventions<br \/>\nEstablish the field office and set up processes in line with the coordination office (Maputo), in coordination with the Finance, HR, Log HoDs and Security HoD<br \/>\nCoordinate overall implementation of program at field level<br \/>\nSupervise and monitor the implementation of regular programs at field level<br \/>\nFacilitate the conception of new projects in collaboration with Head of Technical Departments, Deputy Country Director for Programs and Program managers<br \/>\nSupervise the work of the support services at field level, in collaboration with the Finance, HR and Logistics HoDs<br \/>\nEnsure the synergy between Technical and Support services at field level<br \/>\nEnsure the implementation of recommendations from ACF high\/middle level management resulting from internal audit, experts&#8217; field visits, etc.<br \/>\nManage the team at field level<br \/>\nSupervise and manage all staff under your immediate responsibility<br \/>\nRecruit direct reports in line with the targeted organogram defined for 2023<br \/>\nMonitor the social climate at field level and report to Country Director in case of social issues<br \/>\nManage overall training needs at field level<br \/>\nPromote the commitment to ACF Charter and prevention of frauds and power abuses and inform the Country Representative in case of frauds or power abuses<br \/>\nFacilitate good relationships with the coordination team<br \/>\nUpdate the coordination team on program implementation<br \/>\nRefer proactively to the coordination team for any matter that could jeopardize the programs, the funding or the security of staff and premises<br \/>\nEnsure field teams and proactively express relevant demands of support to coordination team in order to maximize operational efficiency and impact<br \/>\nBe a facilitator between the field and the main base<br \/>\nPilot the follow-up on technical and support departments&#8217; recommendations<br \/>\nRepresent ACF and liaise with regional authorities, UN, NGOs at field and regional level<\/p>\n<p>Profile :<\/p>\n<p>You hold a Master&#8217;s Degree, ideally in Humanitarian Program Coordination, International Development, International Relations.<br \/>\nYou have at least 3 years of field experience in operational management of humanitarian programs in a similar role, including an experience in emergency context.<br \/>\nYou have at least 2 years&#8217; experience in a managerial role, with excellent leadership and management skills in a complex international setting.
