{"id":4000,"date":"2024-05-08T17:15:59","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T12:15:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/driver\/"},"modified":"2024-05-08T17:15:59","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T12:15:59","slug":"driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/?p=4000","title":{"rendered":"Driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"tag country\">Country: Pakistan<\/div>\n<div class=\"tag source\">Organization: International Organization for Migration<\/div>\n<div class=\"date closing\">Closing date: 20 May 2024<\/div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) or Chief Migration Health Officer (CMHO) and the direct supervision of the Senior Migration Health Physician or Senior Procurement and Logistics Coordinator the successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out the following duties and responsibilities in relation to the Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Accountabilities :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive assigned IOM office vehicle(s).<br \/>\nManage the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle(s) to ensure roadworthiness of the vehicles. This includes daily check of tires, brakes, engine oil, fan belt, etc.<br \/>\nArrange for minor repairs and ensures that the vehicles are kept clean.<br \/>\nEnsure that the vehicles undertake regular service intervals.<br \/>\nKeep records of spare parts for vehicle(s) and conduct monthly inventory of the spare parts.<br \/>\nFind the most direct and safe route over the best available roads to the destination.<br \/>\nEnsure that the IOM vehicle(s) is used only for official\/authorized business, as advised by the supervisor.<br \/>\nMake sure that the daily log sheet is prepared, and a monthly report is prepared summarizing statistics linked to mileage, fuel consumption, etc. for the vehicle.<br \/>\nKeep a high degree of confidentiality and discreteness in discussions, which involves IOM and its officials. Take proper actions to reduce potential security threats to IOM officials and\/or property within the immediate vicinity of the vehicle and along transport routes.<br \/>\nMeet official personnel at the airport(s) and facilitate immigration and customs formalities as required.<br \/>\nCollect and deliver mail, documents, pouches, and other communications\/items from and to the country office; go to the post office, airport, government agencies, other UN agencies, institutions, project sites, etc., to take and deliver items and communications; keep records as required.<br \/>\nWhen needed, assist the country office staff in performing simple clerical duties such as making and answering telephone calls, making photocopies, keeping records, etc.<br \/>\nPerform such other duties as may be assigned.<br \/>\nRequired Qualification and Experience :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school degree\/certificate with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited institution.<br \/>\nValid national driver\u2019s licence.<br \/><strong>Experience :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge of driving rules and regulations.<br \/>\nExperience in driving a variety of makes and models of vehicles<br \/>\nSkills in minor vehicle repairs.<br \/>\nKnowledge of radio, email, telephone and other applications.<br \/>\nLanguages :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fluency in English and Urdu (oral and written)<br \/><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Working knowledge of any other local language\/s.<br \/>\nOnly short-listed candidates who is matching required criteria for the position will be contacted by IOM<\/p>\n<p>IOM provides equal opportunity to all qualified female and male including the physically challenged candidates.<\/p>\n<h2 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>Interested Candidates are invited to submit your application by 20th May <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/hiring.rozee.pk\/job-applicants.php?jid=1490322&amp;cs=x\"><strong>1490322 \/ Driver &#8211; Lahore<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The application should be written in English.<\/p>\n<p>Other:<\/p>\n<p>The appointment is subject to funding confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, and security clearances.
