Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :<\/p>\n

The Finance Department Manager will be in charge of guaranteeing the proper management of funds and their transparency by ensuring the accounting and financial management of the mission in compliance with the ACF management framework and local legislation.
\nThis will involve guaranteeing the proper management of funds and their transparency by ensuring the accounting and financial management of the mission in compliance with the ACF management framework and local legislation.<\/p>\n

The essential responsibilities of this position will be to:
\n– Contribute to the definition of the mission strategy;
\n– Guarantee the accounting of the mission;
\n– Guarantee cash management on the mission;
\n– Guarantee budgetary and financial management;
\n– Promote and ensure collaboration and financial and budgetary coordination with mission partners;
\n– Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption;
\n– Supervise and support the Finance team in the capital and be the Functional Manager of the Finance Managers on the bases.<\/p>\n

Profile :<\/p>\n

With higher education in finance\/management, you have at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position within an international solidarity organization. You have significant experience in budgetary and financial management, prevention and management of fraud and corruption situations.
\nYour mastery of management and finance tools (including SAGA software) and financial analysis are recognized, as well as your excellent financial planning skills. You also have basic knowledge of tax law and labor law.
\nGood knowledge of donor procedures ECHO, SIDA, GFFO, SDCS, GAC, USAID is essential.
\nYour ability to train and increase the skills and responsibilities of your team members is demonstrated.
\nYou are also comfortable working in a volatile context with strong security pressures.
\nExcellent command of French, both spoken and written.<\/p>\n

Conditions of employment:
\nPost office dates: May 2024
\n12 months of fixed-term contract under French law
\nGross monthly starting salary from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
\nPer diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros (see eurocost) net, paid in the country’s currency
\nMonthly context allowance: 150 euros
\n16% of gross monthly salary for retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
\nTransport and accommodation: Travel support and collective accommodation
\nMedical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
\nLeave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215 euros paid during the recovery period
\nTraining: Unlimited and free access to the Crossknowledge\u00a9 certified e-learning platform
