DRC Mexico is looking for<\/p>\n

Human Resources and Administration Officer<\/p>\n

Employment band: H – Non-manager<\/p>\n

National Contract<\/p>\n

Salary 25,000MXN – 27,000MXN before local deductions<\/p>\n

Overall purpose of the role<\/p>\n

To provide Human Resources and administrative assistance to DRC staff, in compliance with DRC’s and local guidelines and procedures<\/p>\n

Geographic scope: Country<\/p>\n

This role has a country focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the country. The role contributes to the development of country strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and\/or technical guidance to country operations while overseeing country activities.<\/p>\n

Main responsibilities<\/p>\n

General Human Resources tasks
\n\u2022 Advise and assist management and employees in Human Resources related issues and concerns
\n\u2022 Review Human Resources processes and suggests improvements<\/p>\n

Recruitment and contracts<\/p>\n

\u2022 Support with all phases of recruitment
\n\u2022 Draft new and renewed contracts and other personnel-related issues with special attention to compensation and benefits<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prepare and update briefing\/induction packages for new staff and oversee\/coordinate the induction process<\/p>\n

Compensations & benefits
\n\u2022 Review the staff payrolls provided by out external accountancy services, and ensure onward submission to finance department
\n\u2022 Ensure that all relevant deductions are effected on a monthly basis<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prepare, advice and oversee staff leaves and absences.
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit required reports on a monthly basis for auditing purposes
\n\u2022 Ensure that records of all Human Resources related information is kept and sent on timely basis to relevant parties<\/p>\n

\u2022 Focal point for the liaison with Health Insurance Company on all related issues<\/p>\n

Development, people planning, recruitment and well-being
\n\u2022 Ensure that the performance appraisal process is conducted, and that there are learning and development opportunities available to the employee
\n\u2022 Assist in inducting training on Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Conflict of Interest, etc. as needed
\n\u2022 Assist in people planning activities (e.g. ensure job descriptions are in place for all roles)
\n\u2022 Assist or drive people well-being initiatives<\/p>\n

Administration<\/p>\n

Assist the Head of Services in the management of administrative tasks of Mexico City office<\/p>\n

Coordinate the organization of field visits for external visitors in terms of housing and transport<\/p>\n

Ensure than onboarding and exit procedures are made for all staff in coordination with Logistics and Safety Department<\/p>\n

Support the international staff on coordinating the arrivals, end of missions and housing.<\/p>\n

Support on visas and work permits to the reallocated staff and the international staf<\/p>\n

Reports to<\/p>\n

Head of support Services<\/p>\n

Required experience and competencies<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources management, and\/ or administration
\n\u2022 Technical skills in managing compensation and benefits.
\n\u2022 (I)NGO experience is preferred
\n\u2022 Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
\n\u2022 Experience using an online system for recruitments
\n\u2022 Advanced English proficiency<\/p>\n

Required education<\/p>\n

University degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or Social Science Degree specializing in Human Resources or equivalent professional qualification<\/p>\n
