System Administrator<\/p>\n
Role Summary
\nFarsight Africa Group is seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in IT to oversee the management, security, and maintenance of digital infrastructure for a large-scale public finance management project. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, efficiency, and security of IT systems supporting the digitalization of internal tax and non-tax revenue collection processes.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Install, configure, and maintain servers, databases, and network systems.
\n\u2022 Manage system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
\n\u2022 Ensure high availability and performance of digital tax and non-tax revenue collection platforms.
\n\u2022 Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with software developers, architects, and project managers to optimize system functionality.
\n\u2022 Enforce security protocols, data protection policies, and compliance standards.
\n\u2022 Maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical reports.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements
\n\u2022 A minimum of BAC +5 (Master\u2019s degree) in IT, software development, or an equivalent qualification.
\n\u2022 Proven experience as a System Administrator in at least one (1) project focused on digitalization of internal tax and non-tax revenue collection or a large-scale national project related to digitalization in public finance management within the last ten (10) years.
\n\u2022 Strong expertise in server management, networking, and system security.
\n\u2022 Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and database administration.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Linux\/Windows server environments and IT automation tools.
\n\u2022 Ability to troubleshoot system issues and implement performance optimizations.<\/p>\n
