With a team of more than 4,000 employees operating in 90-plus countries and a global network of over 35,000 experts, we help improve economies, societies, the environment, and, most importantly, people&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Australia Awards Global Support Mechanism (AAGSM)<\/strong> is a new initiative designed to enhance the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade\u2019s (DFAT) international scholarship program delivery by providing operational, technical and analytical services. The AAGSM consists of the <strong>Program Support Unit (PSU)<\/strong> &#8211; responsible for operational and technical s ervices to DFAT and the scholarship delivery network, and the Research and Analytical Support Unit (RASU) \u2013 responsible for analytical and research services for international scholarship programs. Palladium delivers the AAGSM PSU and cooperates with DFAT to ensure effective functioning with the RASU.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As <strong>Business Services Manager<\/strong>you will lead a team to deliver high quality and efficient administrative and business support services to ensure a consistent, seamless and high quality experience for the PSU, DFAT and all AAGSM PSU stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Deputy Team Leader, Operations, you will manage and have oversight of the key support services of enquiries management and help desk support, leading the administrative interface with universities and other external partners, providing secretariat support for the AAGSM PSU governance\/management meetings and overseeing general office operations.<\/p>\n<p>This role plays an integral part in the success of PSU\u2019s service delivery. You will work as part of a highly experienced, solutions focused operations team, leading a team of Business Support Officers to provide exemplary support across the function.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With significant experience in managing a busy client support function or office, you will bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business administration and\/or; an equivalent combination of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume client support function, providing support and training to others in a diverse and fast paced environment.
