We are currently expanding our network in Rwanda and seeking experienced professionals to support <strong>upcoming projects<\/strong> in policy development and implementation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for highly skilled experts and field researchers with extensive experience in government functions to join our team in Rwanda. Candidates must have at least <strong>five years of experience<\/strong> in policy development, implementation, and government-related roles. A <strong>minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree<\/strong> from a recognized university is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must already be based in Rwanda.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are particularly interested in experts with experience in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Public Policy<\/li>\n<li>Energy policy and energy transition<\/li>\n<li>Mining and natural resource management<\/li>\n<li>Decentralisation and local governance<\/li>\n<li>Security Sector Reform<\/li>\n<li>Rule of Law<\/li>\n<li>Political Rights and Civil Liberties<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Security<\/li>\n<li>Control of Corruption<\/li>\n<li>Transparency and Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Human and Social Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct research, policy analysis, and stakeholder consultations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise in one or more of the specified policy areas.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement surveys, interviews, and data collection exercises using digital tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards of data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to policy recommendations, reports, and strategic briefings.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with government institutions, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong> in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Economics, Environmental Studies, Security Studies, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>At least five years of experience<\/strong> in government functions, policy development, or implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Rwandan governance structures and public administration.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in both <strong>quantitative and qualitative data collection<\/strong> methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, writing, and reporting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda; knowledge of French is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with digital data collection tools and research methodologies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Must already be based in Rwanda.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel within Rwanda and work in urban and rural settings as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Aries Consult Ltd?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Become part of a dynamic network of experts driving policy reforms in Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to meaningful research projects that inform governance and development policies.<\/li>\n<li>Work in an inclusive and collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in cross-sectoral work that integrates governance, sustainability, and human rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong> Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a cover letter (Word or PDF format only) to <strong>jobs@africa-research.net<\/strong> by <strong>30 April 2025<\/strong>.
