We are expanding our network in Ethiopia and seeking experienced professionals to support <strong>upcoming projects<\/strong> in policy development and implementation.<\/p>\n<h2 id='position-overview'  id=\"boomdevs_3\"><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We are looking for highly skilled experts and field researchers with <strong>at least five years of experience in government functions<\/strong> to join our team in Ethiopia. A <strong>minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree<\/strong> from a recognized university is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must already be based in Ethiopia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id='expertise-areas'  id=\"boomdevs_4\"><strong>Expertise Areas:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Public Policy<\/li>\n<li>Energy policy and energy transition<\/li>\n<li>Mining and natural resource management<\/li>\n<li>Decentralization<\/li>\n<li>Security Sector Reform<\/li>\n<li>Rule of Law<\/li>\n<li>Political Rights and Civil Liberties<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Security<\/li>\n<li>Control of Corruption<\/li>\n<li>Transparency and Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Human and Social Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='key-responsibilities'  id=\"boomdevs_5\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct research, policy analysis, and stakeholder consultations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise in one or more of the specified policy areas.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement surveys and interviews using digital tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards of data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to policy recommendations, reports, and strategic briefings.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with government institutions, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='requirements'  id=\"boomdevs_6\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong> in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Economics, Environmental Studies, Security Studies, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>At least five years of experience<\/strong> in government functions, policy development, or implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Ethiopian governance structures and public administration.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English and Amharic.
