Our work spans baseline studies, endline evaluations, data collection, and analysis to strengthen evidence-based programming and policy interventions in these countries. To support these assignments, we are seeking experienced short-term consultants with expertise in development research and field data collection.<\/p>\n<h2 id='scope-of-work'  id=\"boomdevs_2\"><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The consultants will be engaged on a short-term basis for specific assignments related to research, evaluation, and capacity building. The key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting baseline and endline surveys, including field data collection using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting data analysis and report preparation to provide evidence-based insights.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Providing training and capacity-building sessions for data collectors and local partners.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring ethical and culturally appropriate research practices.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with AFDC and development partners to deliver high-quality results within tight timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='eligibility-criteria'  id=\"boomdevs_3\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> 2-4 years of experience in development sector research, data collection, and capacity-building training.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Country of Residence:<\/strong> Must be currently based in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or Thailand.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language Proficiency:<\/strong> Proficiency in the local language of the respective country is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Skills:<\/strong> Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including experience using tools such as ODK, KoboToolbox, or similar data collection platforms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Availability:<\/strong> Must be available at short notice for short-term consultancy assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_4\">How to apply<\/h3>\n<h3 id='application-process'  id=\"boomdevs_5\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Interested candidates meeting the above criteria are requested to submit their <strong>detailed profile (CV and cover letter and daily rate in USD)<\/strong> to <strong>afdcdirector@gmail.com<\/strong> by <strong>31 March 2025<\/strong>.
