While experience in all areas is not required, we are prioritizing candidates with expertise in bid-writing, corporate partnerships, and trust fundraising. Experience with UK-based fundraising strategies would be a significant advantage. As we are a small team, this person must be highly self-sufficient, able to take initiative, and comfortable working independently. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their fundraising career while contributing to a small but impactful team.<\/p>\n<h2 id='key-responsibilities'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and nurture existing relationships with funders: Partners, trusts\/foundations, and institutional donors, while actively identifying new funding opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Lead bid-writing and grant applications: Develop compelling funding proposals and applications for trusts, foundations, and institutional donors.<\/li>\n<li>Develop corporate and trust partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships with companies and trusts that align with our mission and funding priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Expand UK, US and international fundraising: Explore opportunities to expand fundraising efforts in the US and globally, leveraging international donor networks.<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising campaigns &#038; digital monetization: Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship programs, and digital fundraising initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop donor engagement strategies: Strengthen our patron and monthly giving programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Support fundraising events: Assist with fundraising event planning and execution.<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising database &#038; reporting: Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, track performance metrics, and report against KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with team members: Ensure fundraising is integrated into communications, operations, and strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 id='essential-qualifications-experience'  id=\"boomdevs_2\"><strong>Essential Qualifications &#038; Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience in Fundraising &#038; Business Development<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>At least 10 years of experience<\/strong> in <strong>fundraising, business development, or grant writing<\/strong>ideally within the <strong>nonprofit, international development, or media\/education sectors<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>proven track record of securing grants<\/strong> from <strong>trusts, foundations, institutional donors, and corporate partners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>developing and writing compelling funding proposals<\/strong> and successfully securing <strong>multi-year funding agreements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>building partnerships<\/strong> with NGOs, private sector organizations, and technology companies, particularly in the media or health sectors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strategic &#038; Financial Planning<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>fundraising strategy development<\/strong>ensuring alignment with organizational goals.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to <strong>develop budgets for funding applications<\/strong>ensuring accurate financial forecasting.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of <strong>funding compliance, impact measurement, and donor reporting requirements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relationship Management &#038; Networking<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to <strong>nurture and manage donor relationships<\/strong>ensuring long-term funding partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in engaging with <strong>high-value donors, corporate sponsors, and institutional funders<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent networking skills to identify and develop new funding opportunities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital &#038; Campaign Fundraising<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>digital fundraising, individual giving campaigns, and donor engagement strategies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>fundraising CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser\u2019s Edge)<\/strong> for donor tracking and pipeline management.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication &#038;
