Human Appeal has seven International Field Offices across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Here at <strong>Human Appeal<\/strong> we have an exciting opportunity for the <strong>Finance Coordinator<\/strong> to be based at \u200bHuman\u200b Appeal <strong>Senegal \u200bDakar\u200b office<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>Condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note, this is a local contract and the position is only exclusive to citizens of <strong>Senegal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200bMain\u200b Job \u200bPurpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coordinate\u200b with \u200bother\u200b department\u200b in\u200b terms\u200b of \u200bpayroll,\u200b cash\u200b flow\u200b management\u200b and\u200b auditing\u200b so\u200b as\u200b to\u200b obtain useful information from others, and keep a good track of financial transactions and other financial\u200b activities for <strong>Human \u200bAppeal\u200b<\/strong> to\u200b monitor financial\u200b status.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compile and sorts supporting documents, such as invoices and cheque(s), substantiating company\/organizational transactions, and ensure that documents and signatures are valid for an appropriate maintenance of documents.<\/li>\n<li>Verify and posts details of organization transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.<\/li>\n<li>Record all transactions, on the accounting software according to Human appeal procedures to keep track of HA\u2019s financial activities, including assisting in entering cash or bank sub- journals (general journals), and recording income from donors, charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges rentals and similar items.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare vouchers, invoices, cheque(s), account statements, bank reconciliations, BVAs, cost allocations, reports and other records and reviews them for accuracy on monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly analysis of the HA trial balance and other financial reports for management decisions, such as AR statements, and income statements.<\/li>\n<li>Enter fixed asset into system and reconcile the fixed asset with the QB fixed assets accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cash\u200bflow<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage bank accounts by maintaining the cash advance to the staff account, prepare payment orders and ensure that they are properly delivered<\/li>\n<li>Monitor cash flow with the transfer of money between head-office and field office and reconciliation with banks to ensure that sufficient funds are always available in the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>Payroll<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the Human Resources department to maintain the Staff List and monthly payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Review the first draft of the monthly payroll and Obtain a copy of the payroll mutations documents to reflect accurate payroll information in relevant reports<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the preparation of the Salary Slips of the month and monthly staff time sheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>Budgeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare new projects budgets and accounts to donors, as per Human Appeal budget templates.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise regularly with budget holders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u200b&#038;
