{"id":17842,"date":"2025-03-11T02:53:55","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T21:53:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/purchasing-specialist\/"},"modified":"2025-03-11T02:53:55","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T21:53:55","slug":"purchasing-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/?p=17842","title":{"rendered":"Purchasing specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<br \/>Country: Tunisia<br \/>\n                                      Organization: UNOPS<br \/>\n                                                                      Closing date: 16 Mar 2025<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.unops.org\/pages\/viewvacancy\/VADetails.aspx?id=29811#1\"><strong>Functional Responsibilities<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Development and Implementation of procurement strategies<\/li>\n<li>Management of procurement processes<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of sourcing strategy and e-procurement tools<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing<\/li>\n<li>Team Management<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Under the authority of the director and the direct supervision of the support chief, the post holder will provide the following tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>1\/ Management and strategic aspects<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consolidated market plans: ensure and coordinate the implementation of the Namco market plan on the required time, by ensuring their alignment with the purchasing strategy developed by Namco<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the development and implementation of Namco&#8217;s strategy in terms of purchase<\/li>\n<li>Develop tools, mechanisms and internal work systems to facilitate and rationalize purchasing processes, reduce transaction costs and ensure effective risk management upstream and downstream of the purchasing processes<\/li>\n<li>For the sake of monitoring and measuring the performance of the Purchasing section, defining relevant performance indicators (KPI) which will be revised on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Keep the database up to date with all the requests and other purchasing transactions made at Namco level<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and supervise unit staff and purchasing specialists in projects<\/li>\n<li>Bring support to the head of the support services as part of the &#8220;Business Operations Strategy &#8211; BOS&#8221; in Tunisia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2\/ Compliance and collaboration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revise and validate cases to be subject to HQCPC and LCPC contracts<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the compliance of activities and transactions relating to purchases<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, improve the internal control system relating to purchase transactions<\/li>\n<li>Participate in expert networks and community practices community<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the follow -up of seat requests for all questions relating to purchases<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the documentation and coordinate the necessary activities in the context of internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3\/ Capacity support and strengthening<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform field missions as much as necessary in the context of supervision, control and capacity building<\/li>\n<li>Organize and conduct training in markets for staff if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Identify capacity building needs and organize specific training if relevant<\/li>\n<li>Provide the necessary support for the head of the &#8220;transactional&#8221;
