Farsight Africa Group is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Revenue Management (ORM) Software Developer to design, develop, and implement Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions. The role will support the organization’s revenue management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with business requirements.<\/p>\n

To develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions that enhance revenue management efficiency, system integrations, and business compliance.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nRequirement Analysis and Design:
\n\u2022 Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for revenue management and billing systems.
\n\u2022 Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
\nSoftware Development:
\n\u2022 Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions.
\n\u2022 Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using PL\/SQL, Java, or other relevant technologies.
\n\u2022 Implement integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
\nSystem Configuration and Customization:
\n\u2022 Configure ORMB modules to align with business processes.
\n\u2022 Customize workflows, rules, and algorithms to meet specific business needs.
\nTesting and Quality Assurance:
\n\u2022 Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure quality deliverables.
\n\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues during testing and post-deployment.
\nDeployment and Support:
\n\u2022 Lead the deployment of ORMB solutions in production environments.
\n\u2022 Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
\n\u2022 Monitor system performance and optimize code and configurations for better efficiency.
\nDocumentation:
\n\u2022 Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
\n\u2022 Maintain documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations.
\nMentorship and Collaboration:
\n\u2022 Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and QA teams.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:
\nEducation:
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
\nExperience:
\n\u2022 Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) development.
\n\u2022 Strong expertise in PL\/SQL, Java, and Oracle Database.
\n\u2022 Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA Suite.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of revenue management processes and billing systems.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
\n\u2022 Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle PL\/SQL Developer, Oracle Fusion Middleware) are a plus.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning.
