{"id":17566,"date":"2025-03-05T00:31:43","date_gmt":"2025-03-04T19:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/finance-officer-national-only\/"},"modified":"2025-03-05T00:31:43","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T19:31:43","slug":"finance-officer-national-only","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/?p=17566","title":{"rendered":"Finance Officer (National Only)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<br \/>Country: Ukraine<br \/>\n                                      Organization: Welthungerhilfe<br \/>\n                                                                      Closing date: 25 Mar 2025<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that documentation of data, account assignment and book-keeping entries of Finance Assistant are carried out correctly in accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality of vouchers and supporting documents as per WHH, donor standards and Ukrainian legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide necessary data to monitor the cash-flow situation and plan the project\/program (annual\/monthly) finances.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the liquidity of the project in coordination with Head of Project and Country Office Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring expenditures\/costs, Budget vs Actual (Budget control)type and cost category with regards to the budget.<\/li>\n<li>Check the necessary documentation for banking transactions (deposit cash or cheque, cash cheques, transfer letters, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Review partner reports in cooperation with partners\u2019 financial teams and register partner reports into financial software.<\/li>\n<li>Support assessments\/capacity building of partner organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on and arrange monthly closure process including accounts receivables and payables settlement (e.g. payment of utilities).<\/li>\n<li><em>Responsible for the project shared cost allocation on monthly basis.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Provide necessary documents and reports (BvA\u2019s, monthly expenditure forecast (specific to staffing and Operational cost) for internal controlling.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in preparation of financial internal and donor reporting (monthly closures, annual financial statement, interim and final donor reports).<\/li>\n<li>Assist Head of Project and Country Office Finance team in budget development and budget revisions.<\/li>\n<li>Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness and comply with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Promote and take an active part in quality improvement processes (Professional and office environmental).<\/li>\n<li>Comply with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Any additional related tasks assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific Qualification<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intermediate to fluent level of verbal and written English<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Please send your application via our online recruiting system by March 25, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/career5.successfactors.eu\/sfcareer\/jobreqcareerpvt?jobId=13177&amp;company=WelthungerP&amp;st=6FE6C813F3A7746C2A776884A8F0B6F79F1B6CBC\">https:\/\/career5.successfactors.eu\/sfcareer\/jobreqcareerpvt?jobId=13177&#038;company=WelthungerP&#038;st=6FE6C813F3A7746C2A776884A8F0B6F79F1B6CBC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Your contact person is Svitlana Kholina Welthungerhilfe is committed to fighting terrorism in all its activities.
