The organization works to meet their essential needs, guarantee their well-being and promote their complete and fulfilling development. The mission of UNICEF in Tunisia is to bring together efforts to promote and guarantee the rights of each child and adolescent. The 2020-2025 country program (CPD) aims to accelerate progress towards the priority sustainable development (SDD) objectives of the Tunisian government, particularly emphasizing the reduction of inequalities, including those of gender, and on the strengthening of the resilience of systems, especially in the face of crises. Structured around four key results, the program aspires to 1) Promote inclusive socio-economic development for children, 2) to strengthen the institutions responsible for access to justice, 3) to improve education, health and child protection systems, 4) and to guarantee sustainable management of water, sanitation, hygiene, environment and risk of disaster and crises. The program adopts a multi-sectoral and multi-year-old approach that meets the needs of children at each stage of their lives, from early childhood to adolescence, while integrating the dimension of gender. It highlights five transversal strategies: i) strengthening systems; ii) the production of evidences for advocacy and politicians; iii) synergy between sectors and partners; iv) mobilization of public and private resources and partnerships; and v) communities&#8217; commitment, including adolescents, to influence programs at all levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This volunteer opportunity is supported by the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia as part of the initiative launched in partnership with the VNU program in December 2023 to promote the inclusion of young people and disabled people through significant and impactful volunteer missions to the United Nations between 2024 and 2026. National policies for childhood and youth in Tunisia aim to provide a educational and cultural service Quality, especially through young people, which promote the commitment, participation, and the inclusion of young people. Tunisia has always made education a national priority, reflected in successive reforms since independence, aimed at creating a unified and democratic education system, to strengthen basic education, and to fight against school failure. It offers adolescents and young people an opportunity not only to succeed in the transition of employment training, in particular in the entrepreneurial field, but also to equip them with essential skills to act actively and effectively solve problems within their community. In doing so, they become actors of change, capable of transforming their environment for the best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Task description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the Education Officer of UNICEF Tunisia and in close collaboration with the director of the Maison des Jeunes Ibn Khaldoun, Tunis, the Development and Participation of Adolescents will assist the management and staff of the youth houses in the following tasks: 1. Organize and animate workshops on the creation of multimedia content and the management of social networks for adolescents and young people (Includes security aspects), promoting creativity and effective communication, based on a plan to prepare in coordination with the director of the youth center and the education, communication and protection sections of UNICEF. 2. Help the organization of the activities provided in youth homes according to management needs. 3. Help logistics linked to the implementation of UPSHIFT training for social entrepreneurship. 4. Press the youth house, in the establishment of partnerships with the ecosystem, including with the center of the second chance and the CDIS, as well as to support UPSHIFT projects. 5. Develop, in coordination the other UNVs based in youth homes, follow -up tools as well as reports from the activities of sustained activities. 6.
