Position Summary
\nThe Operations Officer will support the Value Chain Expert in administrative, financial, logistical and operational management of all project activities.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and duties:
\nThe Operations Officer will have the following tasks:
\n– Support the Value Chain Expert in all accounting, administrative and financial tasks in coordination with the Accounting Administrator of FGPII;
\n– Coordinate the collection of financial project documentation in coordination with local partners;
\n– Manage the record of paper and electronic administrative documents of project activities;
\n– Supports the logistical organization of trainings and capacity building for beneficiaries and CBOs;
\n– Contribute to the execution of procurement procedures in close coordination with the Value Chain Expert and the Logistic Coordinator, following the procedures and rules provided by the donor;
\n– Support HBBs\/associations working in project activities in order to monitor training activities;
\n– Prepare internal financial reporting for the activities under supervision on Value Chain Expert and in coordination with FGPII team;
\nEnsure the relevance and use of project and program MEL frameworks by supporting their implementation and periodic revision
\n– Contribute to the proper management of all project documentation.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications:
\n– Prior experience of at least 3 years in accounting, operations, and logistics management roles at international humanitarian organizations;
\n– Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of the Italian language is considered an added value;
\n– Knowledge and application of PRAG procedures for the procurement of goods and services;
\n– Understating and experience with Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
\n– Excellent organizational, problem solving and mediation skills.<\/p>\n
