Fixed term | 6 months | ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n For the past 30 years, international NGO Acted has been going the last mile to save lives. Currently, Acted supports 20 million people across 43 countries to meet their needs in hard-to-reach areas \u2013 and pursues a triple mandate as a humanitarian, environmental and development aid actor. Acted relies on an in-depth knowledge of local territories and contexts to develop and implement relevant long-term actions, with a wide range of local and international partners, building together a \u201c3ZERO\u201d world: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty<\/p>\n Acted has been present in the West Bank since 2007 and Gaza since 2008, with 3 offices in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Gaza. The NGO intervenes to meet the needs of vulnerable populations whose living conditions have deteriorated in recent years. The teams address urgent needs, support the rehabilitation and reconstruction of homes and agricultural assets. Beyond recovery programming, Acted is also carrying out innovative initiatives to strengthen populations\u2019 capacities in the areas of digital technologies, tourism and social entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n The Country Transparency and Compliance Officer contributes to (i) controlling, on a risk-based audit approach, the implementation of Acted\u2019s processes in compliance with Acted\u2019s guidelines, specific donor guidelines, best practices and national regulations in the relevant country; (ii) developing & actively contributing to action plans agreed with country coordination in order to mitigate the identified risks, and to cope with priorities, budget constraints and organizational context.<\/p>\n She\/He provides technical support and capacity building to the country FLATS staff to implement the action plan and address the issues.<\/p>\n She\/He also provides technical support for donor external audits and due diligences preparation and follow-up.<\/p>\n She\/He should comply and ensure compliance to the audit code of conduct.<\/p>\n Main duties<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n 1.
