Fixed-term contract | 12 months | ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n For thirty years, the international NGO Acted has been working on the last mile of humanitarian action to save lives. Acted currently supports 20 million people in 43 countries to meet their needs in hard-to-reach areas, and pursues a triple humanitarian, environmental and development mandate. Acted relies on in-depth knowledge of territories and local contexts to develop and implement long-term actions, with a wide range of local and international partners, in order to build together a \u201c3ZERO\u201d world: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty<\/p>\n The northern regions of Burkina Faso currently present a fragile political and security context, marked in particular by a complex multidimensional crisis. There are just over a million people displaced in the country at the start of 2021.<\/p>\n Acted’s mission in Burkina Faso began in 2019 to provide support to populations affected by the security and humanitarian crisis, provide its expertise in rapid response and emergency situations, while strengthening response capacities. and coordination between humanitarian and development actors.<\/p>\n Acted Burkina Faso’s interventions are multi-sectoral, flexible and inclusive, the objective of which is to respond to the urgent needs of the populations. From its first interventions, Acted Burkina Faso focuses on the most necessary humanitarian aid: responding to needs in food security, water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH), shelter and essential household items and finally in coordination and integration of the protection. At the same time, and following the evolution of the humanitarian crisis, Acted supports the government in the management of temporary reception sites and informal sites. The REACH initiative allows the entire humanitarian community to strengthen the analysis of humanitarian needs, in particular through a project to monitor the humanitarian situation in 4 regions, the establishment of a multi-sectoral country assessment to support the HNO\/HRP 2021 process and territorial assessments.<\/p>\n In the Northern region, Acted provides assistance in food security and livelihoods, water, hygiene and sanitation, shelter and essential household items. Acted supports the government in the management of the Ouahigouya and S\u00e9guenega displacement sites. The organization plans very soon to support the logistics cluster in the management of a humanitarian warehouse and the sharing of information with partners.<\/p>\n The Project Development Manager represents Acted with donors and manages the development of project proposals in line with the overall strategy of Acted and the country program and ensures appropriate grant management.
