This role will be responsible for general operations within the office, including administration, logistics, procurement, and human resources management. The Finance and Accounting Director will ensure the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the project, supporting the achievement of program targets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all financial operations of the office and project, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with USAID regulations and Chemonics policies in all financial and operational activities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage general office operations, including administration, logistics, procurement, and human resources management.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain financial systems and processes to support effective project implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Chief of Party and other key staff to ensure financial and operational support for program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, providing regular updates and reports to the Chief of Party and USAID.<\/li>\n<li>Lead financial and operational capacity building for local partners and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for financial and operational matters with USAID, the Madagascar government, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the integrity and efficiency of the project\u2019s financial operations, implementing best practices and continuous improvement strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum six years of experience in supporting the financial management of similar-sized donor-funded programs in sub-Saharan Africa or other resource-limited settings; previous USAID or donor experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, accounting, or another relevant field; advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability and desire to work collaboratively with the Madagascar government, international donors, private sector, and local partners to achieve program targets.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in spoken and written French required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='how-to-apply'  id=\"boomdevs_1\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>Early applicants are encouraged.
