{"id":14919,"date":"2024-10-16T11:02:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T06:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/extended-case-management-caseworker-2\/"},"modified":"2024-10-16T11:02:51","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T06:02:51","slug":"extended-case-management-caseworker-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secardo.org\/?p=14919","title":{"rendered":"Extended Case Management Caseworker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"tag country\">Country: United States of America<\/div>\n<div class=\"tag source\">Organization: International Rescue Committee<\/div>\n<div class=\"date closing\">Closing date: 16 Dec 2024<\/div>\n<p><strong>Job Overview:<\/strong> The Extended Case Management Caseworker will be expected to provide strengths-based, client-centered case management, regarding client\u2019s identified goals and barriers as outlined in their self sufficiency plan for the Extended Case Management Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedule clients for needs assessments with the Utah Dept of Workforce Services, incl initial, 6 month and 12 month assessments<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on needs and barriers as identified from assessments in the following areas: Health, Education, Employment, ESL, Civics, Housing and Childcare<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the ECM supervisor to identify needs and coordinate services for clients.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date documentation in client\u2019s e case file to ensure services are properly documented throughout the client\u2019s service period; document all services provided in the state\u2019s data portal UWORKS<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant trainings and meetings at the local and national level.<\/li>\n<li>May train and lead the activities of volunteers and interns.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in social work, international studies or related field of study preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 1-2 years of case management experience with similar populations and\/or client needs preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated Skills &#038; Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English required, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group preferred. \u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes. \u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and \u2018field\u2019 time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>May require occasional weekend and\/or evening work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
