Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health &#8211; Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection &#8211; Food Security and Livelihoods &#8211; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene &#8211; Advocacy. In 2022, Action Against Hunger has helped more than 28 million people in 46 countries around the world. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.actioncontrelafaim.org\">www.actioncontrelafaim.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mission :<\/p>\n<p>Under the responsibility of the Deputy Country Director, your role will be to guarantee the agility of financial management and the quality of accounting in order to support the mission&#8217;s strategy in compliance with the ACF management framework and local legislation.<br \/>\nMore precisely, your missions will be as follows:<br \/>\nContribute to the definition of the mission strategy.<br \/>\nProvide financial and budgetary input to coordination discussions.<br \/>\nAdvise other departments on their financial and budgetary needs.<br \/>\nGuarantee the quality of the mission&#8217;s accounting.<br \/>\nEnsure the correct configuration of the accounting software.<br \/>\nEnsure correct entry of accounting, extra-accounting and expatriate data into the accounting software.<br \/>\nGuarantee the optimization of the mission&#8217;s cash management.<br \/>\nDefine and update the management and movement of funds procedure (cash management) adapted to the local context, propose alternatives in the event of changes in the context, authorize and organize transfers of funds on the bases.<br \/>\nDevelop and manage the budgetary and financial management system.<br \/>\nPromote and ensure collaboration and financial and budgetary coordination with mission partners.<br \/>\nPrevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption.<br \/>\nSupervise and support the Finance team in the capital and be the functional manager of the Finance managers on the bases.<\/p>\n<p>Profile :<\/p>\n<p>With a Master 1 and\/or Master 2 higher education in finance, management or accounting, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar function within an international NGO. You have experience in budget management, on multiple projects with a large volume.<br \/>\nYou are recognized for your organizational skills, your rigor and your flexibility. You are comfortable managing a complex financial system.<br \/>\nYou have proven team management skills and strong problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nYou are fluent in oral and written French. Ideally, you are fluent in English and able to write official documents.
