WeWorld long-lasting operational presence secures access to the areas of implementation, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the needs of IDPs, refugees and host communities residing in the area.<\/p>\n<p>WeWorld\u2019s operational capacity in Lebanon includes +50 staff members deployed in four office, and one warehouse for emergency items.<\/p>\n<p>Despite increasing attacks, WeWorld continues its program delivery and the setting up of a tailored emergency response. WeWorld is currently developing a contingency plan to ensure business continuity, and at the same time it is planning to develop a contingency plan to respond to the newly emerged needs of the groups most affected by the conflict.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the line management of the Country Representative, the <strong>Emergency Coordinator<\/strong> will provide support in direct oversight and offer technical and strategic leadership for WeWorld\u2019s emergency response in Lebanon. The role includes the design, supervision and management of program activities and emergency funds. Additionally, the Emergency Coordinator develops WeWorld&#8217;s emergency program strategy, ensuring linkages and coherence with WeWorld protocols, standards, and procedures. The Emergency Coordinator will also assist in liaising and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders involved in the Lebanon Humanitarian Response, as well as with relevant donors and local authorities. Collaboration and coordination with all members of WeWorld\u2019s Lebanon Team are integral aspects of the Emergency Coordinator&#8217;s responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main functions and duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Program Implementation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to developing strategy, technical guidance and Standards of Procedures for the emergency response<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality compliance with all donor proposals, budgets and donor reports related to Emergency response<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high technical quality program management of the emergency response<\/li>\n<li>In close collaboration with the Emergency Technical specialists, contribute to the development of strategic response activities plans<\/li>\n<li>Co-lead on proposal writing for emergency grants, and additional project top-ups related to emergency programming<\/li>\n<li>Support on ensuring compliance and adherence to WeWorld policies, guidance and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide supervision, direction and guidance to Emergency team, including monitoring and evaluating the performances and identify development needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Representation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure representation of WeWorld in relevant Sector\/Clusters working groups and Humanitarian response platforms<\/li>\n<li>Support on represents the organization vis a vis the local authorities<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Donor and monitoring meetings under the guidance of the Country Representative<\/li>\n<li>Ensure visibility according to WeWorld Standards and Guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Safety &#038;
