International<\/strong> Transformation Foundation (ITF)<\/strong> is an internationally youth led non-profit organization providing youth educational and self-development programs, encompassing leadership and entrepreneurship, to harness creativity for a youth system that provides jobs, offering security, opportunities to grow, and contribute to the development of our communities.<\/p>\n

Since its establishment ITF has been developing and operating youth development programs to lead the youth of today as leaders with a strong heart and mind as true workers of society with creative and progressive thinking. Our current projects are:<\/p>\n

1. BUILD YOUNG FUND<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jijenge Kijana fund is a youth livelihood pathway offering micro-credit and micro-saving training enabling ITF members to engage in productive and stable livelihoods to generate increased income to lift them out of poverty.<\/p>\n

2. A WATER KIOSK AT SCHOOL<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a school-based and students-managed business designed to sell clean tap water to community residents at an affordable price; a sustainable business model that pre-finances a community school in order to set up an on-site water kiosk with specially designed and sustainable products.<\/p>\n

3. PUBLIC DRINKING WATER FOUNTAIN<\/strong><\/p>\n

The public water fountain project aims to install sustainable tap water stations near playgrounds, city centers, parks, schools and bus stations in Africa which ensure accessible clean drinking tap water. The project also works to bring awareness on the environmental impact of production and waste of single-use plastic water bottles.<\/p>\n

4. ERASMUS+ PARTNERSHIPS<\/strong><\/p>\n

ITF operates capacity-building projects that gather global partnerships with the aim of tackling youth unemployment by bridging the educational sector and labor market enabling young people to undergo work-based learning. These projects are co-financed by the Erasmus plus programme of the European Union.<\/p>\n

Administration Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your role is to provide reception, secretarial and administrative support to the services provided by the organization.<\/p>\n

  • Operate manual and computerized office systems for instance filing and maintaining:<\/li>\n
  • Members database;<\/li>\n
  • Monthly and Annual reports database;<\/li>\n
  • Contacts Database<\/li>\n
  • Events database.<\/li>\n
  • Undertake general office duties such as:<\/li>\n
  • Office reception duties, both in person and on the telephone, dealing with the post, faxes and e-mail;<\/li>\n
  • Drafting and sending standard letters;<\/li>\n
  • monitoring and ordering stocks of basic items such as stamps, stationery, periodicals, equipment and other items;<\/li>\n
  • Arranging travels: Flights, hotels and accommodation etc.<\/li>\n
  • Administer organizational events.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and maintain all records in line with statutory and operational requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Person Specifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Hold (or be a current student pursuing) at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields such as Administration, Management, Human Resources, etc.<\/li>\n
    2. Good organizational skills, including ability to work within tight deadlines.<\/li>\n
    3. Have excellent communication skills orally and in writing (minimally in English), excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work with diverse individuals or group of individuals.<\/li>\n
    4. Ability to maintain an established work schedule, with or without flexibility.<\/li>\n
    5. Have basic computer skills including graphic communication publications.<\/li>\n
    6. Understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities.<\/li>\n
    7. Strong organizational and management skills- ability to multi task and prioritize.<\/li>\n
    8. Motivated to learn and take on new challenges.<\/li>\n
    9. Willingness and capacity to volunteer.<\/li>\n
    10. Passion and commitment towards youth development<\/li>\n
    11. Candidate must be in the age bracket of 18 \u2013 30.<\/li>\n
    12. A minimum of six months commitment is required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Other requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The volunteer is required to work from the office on mandatory days. Currently, remote working is limited for this position.<\/p>\n

      Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Although ITF Volunteer staff enjoy limitless opportunities, ITF does NOT provide any kind of compensation. ITF staff operate on full-time volunteer basis for a minimum of 6 months. Volunteers are responsible for all basic expenses such as home \u2013 office transportation, accommodation etc. ITF ONLY provides direct operational expenses such as staff transportation to meetings outside the office, field visit operations etc.<\/p>\n
