Danish Refugee Council (DRC)<\/strong> is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.<\/p>\n

DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter\/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.<\/p>\n

DRC is currently looking for a highly qualified Grants Management Manager<\/strong> to oversee the grants department and manage a portfolio exceeding 80 million USD in 2024. The manager will lead the grants team, ensure effective grant management systems for all grants and partners, and support standardized, efficient processes. Additionally, they will work with the Head of Programme to ensure the timely production of high-quality reports, concept notes, and proposals.<\/p>\n

Your main responsibilities will be:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proposal development
\n\u2022 In coordination with the Head of Programme, lead proposal development processes; coordinate, collect, draft, and\/or edit contributions and compile inputs from programme staff, technical advisors, HQ and\/or the regional office, and partners in line with DRC\u2019s Ukraine\u2019s country strategy. Collaborate with the partnership manager in proposal writing processes including local implementing partners as sub-grantees<\/p>\n

Grants management
\n\u2022 Organise and lead grants meetings such as project kick-offs and close-out meetings in according to DRC PCM guidelines.
\n\u2022 Provide guidance on and ensure compliance with donor and DRC rules, regulations, and guidelines and raise issues affecting external\/ internal compliance
\n\u2022 Ensure quality information management related to grants (including managing the DRC Grants Management System (GMS) and in-country documentation and trackers)
\n\u2022 Ensure quality and timely submission of donor narrative and financial reports
\n\u2022 Lead application process and ensure compliance regarding (no-)cost extensions, amendments, top ups, reallocations
\n\u2022 Liaise with external key donors relating to specific grant programmatic issues
\n\u2022 Maintain and update the donor database to identify new donors and funding opportunities in line with the strategic priorities of DRC Country and Regional Office<\/p>\n

Capacity development
\n\u2022 Provide technical guidance and deliver trainings on DRC and donor guidelines and proposal development and reporting to field offices.<\/p>\n

Fundraising and donor liaison:
\n\u2022 Support the development of DRC’s fundraising strategies in cooperation with the Head of Programme
\n\u2022 Support fundraising efforts in coordination with the country director and HoP, including undertaking donor mapping and providing briefings to in-country donor representatives
\n\u2022 Liaise with donor representatives and coordinate donor visits to programme sites, in support to the CD and the HoP<\/p>\n

DRC Dynamics ERP System
\n\u2022 Ensure DRC Dynamics is used to its full capacity
\n\u2022 Ensure proper application of ERP grants and projects processes in the country
\n\u2022 Apply reports and data analytics from ERP system to improve performance in the country
\n\u2022 Ensure that Country ERP support is in place (i.e. super users)<\/p>\n

About you<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 5 years’ experience in proposal, project, or programme development, reporting, or grants management in an INGO and at least 3 years’ experience with people management. Moreover, we also expect the following:<\/p>\n
