Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :<\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the General Director, your role will be to ensure the secretarial, organization and administrative management of the General Management.<\/p>\n

More precisely, your missions will be as follows:
\nEnsure the secretariat, organization and administrative management of the General Management
\n\u00b7 Follow and organize the Director General’s agenda
\n\u00b7 Process certain messages and write letters and emails at the request of the general manager
\n\u00b7 Establish an archiving system for old files and ensure classification of current files (organizational and strategic), in order to respond to internal requests on these subjects
\n\u00b7 Have documents from all departments signed and circulated after signature by the Director General
\n\u00b7 Monitor the updating of absence schedules for directors and their assistants
\n\u00b7 Develop and propose a management budget to the CEO and ensure budget monitoring for the current year. Ensure a monitoring and ale role<\/p>\n

Profile :<\/p>\n

With a higher education such as Bac+2\/3 in management assistantship or communication, you have professional experience of at least 5 years in a similar position, in a demanding and dynamic environment.<\/p>\n

Previous experience in the associative\/international solidarity sector would be desirable.
\nYou know how the humanitarian sector and\/or associative organizations work. Knowledge of the structure, functioning and internal procedures within Action Against Hunger is a plus.<\/p>\n

You have knowledge of budget management. You also have skills in basic commercial negotiation techniques.<\/p>\n

Organized and responsive, you master Pack Office and demonstrate proven writing and interpersonal skills. Motivated by the humanitarian sector, you are also recognized for your rigor, your strength of proposal, your sense of confidentiality as well as your ability to manage pressure.<\/p>\n

Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.<\/p>\n

Terms of employment<\/p>\n

Status: Integrated manager – Permanent contract – Full time
\nLocation: Ile-de-France
\nRemuneration: From 34K to 41K euros gross annual over 13 months depending on experience
\nAdvantages: 21 days of RTT

\nCollective face-to-face time imposed \/ also obligatory by the employer: for meetings and collective events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of compulsory presence when you join the team
