OB is seeking an <strong>On-Call Truck Driver<\/strong> to work with Hunger Strike Force to transport product to and from assigned local pick-up and delivery locations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to perform FMCSA compliant vehicle inspections and accurately complete DVIRs<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle stress, and meet deadlines and time demands<\/li>\n<li>Positive communication skills to be used with OB donors, ministries and dispatch<\/li>\n<li>Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to stand, walk and lift 50+ pounds<\/li>\n<li>Prefer Class \u201cA\u201d or Class \u201cB\u201d Commercial Driver\u2019s License, but not required<\/li>\n<li>Able to safely navigate roads in a 26-foot box truck<\/li>\n<li>Prefer 2 years local driving experience or eligible military experience<\/li>\n<li>No DMV chargeable offenses for most recent 3-years prior to employment at OB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Operation Blessing (OB)<\/em> is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides strategic relief on an ongoing basis through core programs such as hunger relief, medical care, clean water, and disaster relief.
