Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will coordinate the implementation of all day-to-day activities to ensure that all programs and operations have the necessary goods and services when they are needed to support the delivery of quality programs to poor and vulnerable people. Your knowledge and experience will enable you to coordinate food and logistics needs and challenges and implement solutions, while applying the principles of virtuous management, integrity, transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Archive all supporting documentation used to record properties in a manner that facilitates review and verification.
\n\u2022Assign a unique identification number\/tag to properties at the time of acquisition. Identification numbers should maintain their chronological order and should be consistently applied in the main office and in subsidiary offices.
\n\u2022Ensure that identification numbers affixed to properties are legible at all times and replace old and faded ones.
\n\u2022Keep a permanent record of all organization properties. This includes properties in the main office, sub-office warehouse, temporary offices (in case of emergency), satellite stores, etc.
\n\u2022 Identify damaged, decommissioned and transferred properties to other organizations on loan, donation or other approved means. DSA!!!
\n\u2022 Track transfer of properties between and among staff\/departments and update the permanent register accordingly. PROPERTY LOCATION!!!
\n\u25cf Work in coordination with the supply chain team and relevant program staff in logistics services that meet the requirements of the supply chains. Help identify difficulties in supply chain management and provide recommendations to address them.<\/p>\n

Support the implementation of delivery operations from arrival of goods in country (or local point of purchase) to warehouses and final distribution centers, in accordance with CRS and donor regulations and international and local standards and requirements for the supply chain.
\n\u25cfCollaborate and communicate with the purchasing team to ensure they receive purchase requests on time with complete specifications, delivery schedules and other terms and conditions, including labeling, branding and promotion.
\n\u25cf Provide regular coaching and support to CRS and partner staff and workers to ensure they have the ability to implement logistics processes accurately, consistently and transparently and to meet safety, security and health requirements.
\n\u25cf Assist in coordinating and supervising activities related to the receipt, transportation, distribution and disposal of commodities. Liaise with marine surveyors, C&F agents, transport manager, partners and other parties to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods.
\n\u25cf Maintain up-to-date records with all necessary logistics documents and verify that all supply chain management activities and movement are documented completely and accurately. Prepare and\/or review all reports prior to submission, as required by distribution requirements.<\/p>\n

Training, experience and skills required<\/strong>
Education and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other relevant degree desired. Professional certification(s) in Supply Chain or equivalent field are a plus.
\n\u25cf Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics or purchasing, preferably in an international organization.
\n\u25cfKnowledge of political dynamics along the chain, infrastructure, market as well as corresponding laws and regulations.
\n\u25cfProficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with food tracking systems is a plus.<\/p>\n

Personal skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u25cfGood analytical skills with the ability to make independent judgments and decisionsEthical conduct, in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of ethics
