The Safety and Protection Manager oversees the strategy, development, implementation, and completion of all grants, contracts and activities related to our survivors of trafficking and gender & survivors programs. Responsibilities include supervision of all staff to ensure compliance with program requirements, grant development and management. This is a full-time, exempt position.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
Oversight of Programs:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Effectively manage the development, implementation, compliance, and closure of all grants and contracts within the department.<\/p>\n \u2022 Responsible for the development of grant proposals and reports related to all areas of grants and contracts within the department.<\/p>\n \u2022 Monitor the provision of services through regular, systematic case file reviews and quality assurance protocols including data QA to ensure compliance with donor requirements and provision of quality services.<\/p>\n \u2022 Oversee department program budget and manage expenses to ensure costs are maintained within allocated budgets.<\/p>\n \u2022 Oversee and ensure the Anti-Trafficking & Gender and Survivors team is working effectively toward, and meeting, match obligations.<\/p>\n \u2022 Responsible for tracking finances and program budgets, reporting, and grant compliance of programs falling under the scope of Anti-Trafficking and Gender and Survivors; oversee related sub-grants, monitor sub-awardees, and ensure timely and accurate services and reporting.<\/p>\n \u2022 Develop and manage a system to track and monitor program efficiency and outcomes, including screening tools. Design client satisfaction surveys, program evaluation and outcome tracking tools. Track data and write programmatic reports.<\/p>\n Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Participates in program team meetings, staff training, and provides community presentations.<\/p>\n \u2022 Work with IRC Sacramento leadership and IRC Technical Advisors to develop, implement, and monitor programs and services that serve the needs of at-risk clients including survivors of trafficking and unaccompanied minors.<\/p>\n \u2022 Oversees department team members; formally evaluate team and individual performance to ensure objectives have been met.<\/p>\n \u2022 Provide professional development opportunities for staff and ensure internal and external training aligns with staff interests and development areas.<\/p>\n \u2022 Recruits and trains staff in all aspects of programs responsibilities.<\/p>\n \u2022 Oversee the strategic development of partnerships in the community that will enhance and streamline relevant service provision; Maintain current partnerships; Represent IRC in public, professional and governmental forums, advocating for client needs within the community.<\/p>\n \u2022 Facilitate interdepartmental communication and information sharing for monthly newsletters, program reports, etc.<\/p>\n \u2022 Other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n Key Working Relationships:<\/em><\/p>\n Position Reports to: Site Director<\/p>\n Position directly supervises: Anti-Trafficking and Gender & Survivors Staff<\/p>\n Other Internal and\/or external contacts:<\/p>\n Internal: Collaborate closely with other departments where there is overlap in client caseload, including communication with other department managers. Immigration legal services, coordinate with Finance, Community Engagement, and Development teams as needed.<\/p>\n External: Community-based organizations<\/p>\n Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 University degree (four year, B.A.) required; graduate degree in social work, international affairs, or human services related field preferred.<\/p>\n \u2022 Minimum of 5 years of related experience, including 2 years of oversight of relevant work.<\/p>\n \u2022 Experience with program management including staff management, program development, and monitoring and evaluation required.<\/p>\n \u2022 Fundraising and grant writing experience preferred. Prior reporting experience required.<\/p>\n \u2022 Demonstrated ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC\u2019s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. Proficiency in a second language desirable.<\/p>\n \u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in working with MS Office applications, with strong command of Excel.<\/p>\n Working Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Offices hours are scheduled as Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5pm. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
