CESVI is working also in the health sector in Donetsk Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast.<\/p>\n<h2 id='position'  id=\"boomdevs_2\">Position<\/h2>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration will start as soon as possible, starting from September\/1 of October 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The main duty station will be <strong>Kiev, with regular field missions\u2019 country-wide<\/strong>. The grant officer will work under the supervision of the Head of Mission and with the support of the E-Unit team in HQ.<\/p>\n<p>In close coordination with the Head of Mission, the Grants Officer is responsible for the effective management of Cesvi grants portfolio and for developing project proposals for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grants Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain grant management tools such as funding trackers, grant trackers, dashboards, reporting templates and reporting calendars; and ensure the team is aware of these timelines;<\/li>\n<li>Assist program and operations teams to ensure compliance with grant regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that donor requests are communicated to relevant team members and addressed in a timely manner;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the hard and soft filing system for Ukrainian grants;<\/li>\n<li>Provide support during any external audits;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate joint consortium activities (e.g. reviews, evaluations, trainings etc) and facilitate consortium coordination meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all internal and external reporting with programs and finance, ensuring high-quality, well-written and timely reports meeting donor and Cesvi requirements;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the leadership of the HoM, explore new funding opportunities among institutional and private donors and monitor pre-identified donors\u2019 sites;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyze donor strategies and new funding opportunities in accordance with the country\u2019s strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Act as focal point for handling high-quality proposal developments with programs, finance and operations and technical departments as well as other relevant staff and stakeholder involved in specific project design for ensuring qualitative and timely submission;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure deadlines, donor priorities and requirements are communicated and understood by the team;<\/li>\n<li>Update the donor mapping;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As needed and identified by the HoM or Area Manager in HQ, liaise, build and maintain good relationship with key programmatic counterparts including donor representatives, consortium partners and project stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high quality, accessible information about the projects is available for internal and external audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id='requirements'  id=\"boomdevs_3\">Requirements<\/h2>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University\/Master degree in social science, or any other relevant field;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 year\u2019 grant management experience with INGOs;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated advanced skills in needs assessments and project proposal writing in both protracted crisis and\/or development contexts, also involving partners and in consortium;<\/li>\n<li>Strong diplomatic skills;<\/li>\n<li>Capacity in networking and building effective partnerships;<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of budget development;<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge about EU and UN rules and regulations, previous experience working on EU-funded projects is preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to produce high quality narrative reports;<\/li>\n<li>IT skills (Office package);<\/li>\n<li>Professional fluency in written and spoken <strong>English<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communications skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to produce and edit documents under deadline pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work cooperatively;<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a multi-cultural setting;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DESIDERABLE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with protection sectors;<\/li>\n<li>Strategic thinking and innovation;<\/li>\n<li>Adapts and copes with pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Prior working experience in Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge (written and spoken) of Italian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SAFEGUARDING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cesvi has a zero-tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, a child or a vulnerable adult by any of our staff, related persons or partners.<\/p>\n<p>Cesvi commitment to being a safe organization begins with the staff recruitment process which includes meticulous checks, such as criminal records checks or check disclosure of previous convictions, to ensure children and vulnerable people are safeguarded and abuse is prevented. Therefore, in order to protect its staff, an assessment of their suitability for the position in each mission is carried out before departure.
