Introduction:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blumont is seeking a Director of Finance and Adminsitration (DFA) for an anticipated five-year USAID funded Iraq Civic Engagement Activity in Iraq. The project is aimed at fostering a more politically engaged citizenry in Iraq, enhancing trust and participation in the country’s democratic processes. This activity seeks to elevate civic literacy, empower citizens to actively engage and contribute to discussions on issues of concern. Equipping citizens with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively in the democratic processes.<\/p>\n

The DFA will supervise and work with the Blumont administration, finance and program staff in country to ensure that adequate and appropriate internal controls are in place to comply with both Blumont policies and donor requirements for human resources, procurement, program reporting (financial and programmatic), records management, and financial management and accountability. The incumbent of this position will also be responsible for ensuring that Blumont follows all local laws, rules and regulations. The DFA will work under the supervision of the Chief of Party but will also work closely with and provide direct reporting to the Finance Department and Program Operations Division of Blumont \/HQ.<\/p>\n
