Mission :
Under the supervision of the Zone Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality implementation and monitoring of activities at the Bambo operational base. You will ensure quality and on-time implementation of programs, meeting the needs of the area and donor requirements by supporting the Program and Support Managers. You will also ensure the good management of the sub-base by ensuring compliance with procedures and directives and the quality of life of employees and guaranteeing team cohesion.
More specifically, your role will be to:
Contribute to the identification of sectoral needs, strategy design and operational development
Support and coordinate activities and program teams to ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects
Supervise and guarantee the smooth running of support function activities
Ensure the functionality of accountability mechanisms, the fight against fraud and SEA cases
Participate in team management and Human Resources
Ensure reporting and internal and external representation of Action Against Hunger in the area
Monitor the security situation in the area Collect and report information
Implement security decisions
Manage incidents.
Profile :
You hold a graduate degree in humanitarian, social sciences or other similar fields, with at least 2 years of experience in the INGO humanitarian sector.
You have professional experience in planning, implementation, project monitoring, budgetary and team management and ideally experience in Logistics, Finance and/or HR.
You have already worked for more than 6 months in an isolated area with volatile security.
You have solid experience in project cycle management, using participatory tools and methodologies for assessment, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
You ideally have knowledge of Wash/FSL/Nutrition/Health/Emergency/Community engagement/SMSP as well as in-depth knowledge of the functioning of the Congolese state system and civil society.
You are particularly skilled in communication and report writing.
You have excellent organizational, priority and time management skills and are able to work under pressure, with a team spirit and cohesion.
You are proficient in the use of computer systems and programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and technical programs).
You have an excellent level in French and English (written and spoken).
Terms of employment
Fixed-term contract of use under French law: 6 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2332 to 2676 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Per diem and monthly living expenses: $974 net, paid on the ground
Monthly context allowance: 450 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Travel support and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance schemes (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
