Advertise Jordanian Children’s Villages Association About a job opportunity As a specialist/clinical psychologistWhere you will be responsible for providing psychological and therapeutic support for children and youth within the villages of children, in addition to following up their psychological health and developing guidelines and educational programs in coordination with the educational team.
Basic tasks and responsibilities
? Evaluation and psychological diagnosis for children and youth:
✔️ Clinical evaluation for each child/young man and documenting the diagnosis
✔️ Provide individual treatment plans and follow up on their implementation regularly
✔️ Ensuring follow -up and update the database for psychological states
? Providing support and guidance to the mothers, aunts and officials of youth hostels:
✔️ Providing regular training courses for mothers and supervisors to promote mental health
✔️ Support mothers and youth hostel leaders in dealing with behavioral challenges for children
✔️ Providing individual or collective psychological consultations when needed
? Supervising the implementation of psychotherapy programs and behavior modification plans:
✔️ Preparing and implementing protective psychological support programs for children based on their age stages
✔️ Holding individual or group therapeutic sessions according to the needs of each case
✔️ Development of treatment plans to improve academic performance in coordination with the education coordinator
? Follow -up and coordination with biological families:
✔️ Prepare psychological rehabilitation plans for biological families in preparation for the reintegration of children
✔️ Visiting biological families and following up the psychological conditions of their children
✔️ Providing psychological consultations to families and ensuring that the required therapeutic goals are achieved
? Promote a culture of protection within children’s villages :
✔️ Raising the level of awareness in children and employees about the principles of child protection
✔️ Providing employees consulting on dealing with mental health issues
✔️ Preparing monthly and annual reports on psychological states and sharing them with the administration
Required qualifications
✅ Master’s degree in clinical psychology With documents proof of practicing the profession
Experience Not less than 4-5 years old At work with children and youth
✅ Strong communication and organization skills
✅ Proficiency The Arabic language is fluent With good knowledge of English
✅ Master Using computer and specialized programs in psychology
✅ The ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult conditions
